In this short motivational monologue, the speaker greets the audience and frames the day’s “moment of yes” around the theme of change. Using the observable shift in seasons—particularly the subtle transition in Florida—as a metaphor, he explains that all external aspects of life (relationships, jobs, bodies) are in constant flux. He argues that resistance to this inevitable change creates stress, pain, and fear. In contrast, he identifies an inner, immutable core—love, life, and purpose (capitalized)—that remains untouched by external circumstances. By recognizing this changeless essence, listeners can find peace and comfort, allowing the outward expression of love and purpose to evolve without clinging to static expectations. The talk concludes with an invitation to embrace continual evolution and enjoy the day.

Good morning, everyone. Here's your moment of yes for today. Happy Saturday to you. I hope that you enjoyed your moment of MC Hammer yesterday. You just can't touch this. So your moment of yes for today is— now, probably in most places of the country, the United States, you're probably noticing a season change or a change in color. Down here in Florida, not so much. Maybe a little bit cooler in the morning or evening. Not so much a color change. It's actually a little bit more difficult to notice when the seasons are changing from hot to hotter. But that said, with most things, with all things, we go through seasons of change. We go through cycles. And the outward appearance is always changing through different phases. And that's true about every single living thing, is that they're going through cycles, they're going through seasons. The expression of how something shows up or lives or moves or exists is constantly changing. It's that the seasons, the progression, the evolution of change that is always going on. Every relationship, every job, every body, every— everything is in continuous change and evolution. So to the extent that we try to hold on to something wanting to be the same, Is where stress and pain and frustration and fear is going to come in, trying to get— trying to have something stay the same, which essentially is never going to be the same. Always changing, always evolving. Yet the changeless constant in all of this is the purity, is the constancy, is love itself. Love with a capital L, life with a capital L, your purpose, your internal authenticity is is changeless. That cannot be touched by anyone or anything. Now the way you express it and the way it shows up externally is going to be different and changing all the time. But the perfection and the wholeness and the the purity of love. Life purpose of yes itself is totally untouchable. So you can find your comfort and your peace in that, that that can never go anywhere, and then just accept that the external how it shows up in expression is always, always changing. So no need to try to hold on to things being a certain way. Just allowing ourselves to to to let the expression of how love and life and purpose shows up continually, continually evolve and be different. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a wonderful Saturday.
