Michelangelo carved David by chiseling away marble to reveal what was already inside. Your purpose works the same way: it's already in you, buried under limiting beliefs and ego. Spend today noticing what blocks you and chisel it away.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. Happy hump day to you. Happy Wednesday. So, it's one of my favorite kind of quotes or paraphrasing, but is when Michelangelo was asked about sort of his inspiration for carving David. And his response was, you know, he said, David was in the block of marble the whole time. My only job was to chisel away all the unnecessary stone. I love that. You know, that perfect, beautiful idea was inside of that stone, inside of that block the whole time. And it wasn't about going out and getting something. It was about just chiseling away any unnecessary rock, any unnecessary stone. That wasn't— that was taken away from the wholeness, from the beauty of the finished product. And how perfect that is for us, for living your yes, living your purpose. All that we're doing is we're not actually needing to go out outside of ourselves or to go somewhere to live our purpose, to live our yes. We're living it right now. All we're doing is we're noticing the little unnecessary rock, unnecessary stone, the little The unnecessary beliefs that are still attached to us or the unnecessary ego attachments that we have. As we notice them, we can choose to either chisel them away and free ourselves from them or obviously we can still carry them around. But it's not about going out to figure something— to figure it out. It's about noticing what shows up that's getting in the way of us living our yes. And so as you notice those things today during the day, just get out your little chisel and do a little bit of chiseling. Let me know how it goes. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a wonderful day. Thank you.
