A speaker starting a new job faces a drug test and uses it as a metaphor to examine what's inside us emotionally. He references Wayne Dyer's idea that pressure reveals what we're holding: squeeze an orange and you get orange juice. The challenge is to check what gratitude, trust, jealousy, or anger lives in your system.

Hello everyone, here is your moment of yes. I'm still terrified, I almost walked face into a spider in its web, which I wouldn't be here sitting right now had I done that because I would be done. So now you guys know another fear of mine, spiders, spider webs. I love them, I just don't want them around me. Probably how my kids feel. So, moment of yes for today is starting next work, I'm taking on some new and exciting work which I'm really excited about. But today I have to go in and get drug tested to make sure— to do a drug screening to make sure that I'm okay. And I was thinking about that today, the fact that I have to go do this drug screening test. And the cool thing about a drug test is that it tells you what's in your system. It tells us kind of what kind of things we're putting in our system, and so they know what things are there. That's what shows up. Which is good. Which got me thinking on a metaphorical basis from if you were to sort of test your own sort of mental and emotional state right now, what would that test reveal? What is in your system? Is there gratitude, trust, faith, or is there also some jealousy, envy, frustration, anger over things? What is in your system? Wayne Dyer says, When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out because that's what's inside the orange. When you get squeezed, what comes out of you is what is inside you, what you're holding on to inside you. So what are you holding on inside you right now? Maybe it's time to take some listening, some reflection, and just notice what some of those things are. And maybe, maybe it's time to challenge some of them. And it doesn't require you and a plastic cup. That's your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful, wonderful day, everyone.
