Growth happens outside your comfort zone. The speaker argues that whether it's intellectual, professional, physical, or spiritual, you only improve when you're uncertain and forced to adapt. Happy Monday, everyone. Here is your moment of yes. Believe it or not, South Florida, it's actually 39 degrees outside as I'm shooting this. And so yeah, we get some cold weather every once in a while. So your moment of yes for today is get uncomfortable as quickly as possible. 39 makes me a little uncomfortable, so I guess it's working. So what I mean by that is get uncomfortable as quickly as possible. Is when you think about any time in your life when you are learning, when you are growing, when you are progressing, it is because you have either chosen to or have been forced out of your comfort zone. The only way for us to advance and progress in life is to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zone, to get out of the space where we know what we're doing into the space where we don't know. Where it's new, we don't know what we're doing, we're trying, we're experimenting, we're having to really kind of adjust and react on our feet. That could be just going at a party where you have to introduce yourself to someone that you've never met, or it's a new responsibility with your work. It could be a number of different things, but until you get out of your comfort zone, of that space of knowing how to do and what to do, There's no way to advance. There's no way to get better unless we are pushing ourselves. That's true with working out physically, spiritually, no matter what aspect of our life we're trying to improve. So think about if you approached every day from the standpoint of, I need to get out of my comfort zone as quickly as possible. What might you experience and what might you learn? Think about that. That's your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful day, everyone. Get uncomfortable. Thank you.
