In this short, improvised YouTube monologue, the speaker greets viewers and shares a "moment of yes" centered on the holiday season. He reflects on Christmas as a time traditionally associated with material presents, then shifts focus to the idea that everyone possesses unique, non‑material gifts—personal talents, passions, and authentic expressions—that can be shared freely. Using family examples, he illustrates how each person is called upon for their specific strengths, encouraging listeners to recognize their own gifts and to prioritize giving these priceless, everyday contributions over physical items. The talk ends with an uplifting call to embody this authentic generosity throughout the year.

Good morning, afternoon, everyone. Here's your moment of yes for today. So my normal filming spot is being occupied, and instead of being rude and asking people to leave, I figured I would improvise where I'm shooting today. So, not the most glamorous spot, but here I am nonetheless. Happy, happy Sunday, everyone. We're creeping up closer to Christmas, a wonderful holiday. Got some family in town. Happy Sunday. And, but still found some time this morning to do some listening and just a beautiful day here. Got to go to the beach and, and, and just really appreciate the beauty of the warmth down here. So your moment of yes for today is to think about gifts. That's right. Christmas is all about gifts, right? Well, different kinds of gifts. Think about the gifts that, that you naturally express and whether that's like what you're really passionate about, what you enjoy, enjoy doing, or what you Just naturally love. And so I think about how we all have these gifts and, and how we express ourselves and things that we love. And I know if my mom has probably a technical question, she's going to call my brother and he'll have all these ideas for, for her. If she has a question about doing something cool and crafty design-wise, she's probably going to call one of my sisters, right? Not quite sure what she would call me for. But the thing is, we all have our gifts. And, and we all have different things that are different niche, our different love, our passion. And just to express those and to recognize in yourself, what are the gifts that you have? And what, and what do you like to share and express with others? And as we stop thinking about all of the physical gifts that will be given away in a few days, think about just the natural— Gifts. Gifts that don't cost a thing but are priceless. And you express them on a daily basis and express them bigger, more, more authenticity, more yes. And that is the gift that keeps on giving the whole year. That it is, Edward. That it is indeed. And that's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day.
