In this motivational segment, the speaker presents a "moment of yes" centered on the idea that one's purpose is the authentic expression of what truly excites and fires them up. Using a fire metaphor, they explain that nurturing passion—adding kindling and firewood—makes the inner fire grow, while letting it simmer causes it to shrink. The speaker notes that many people feel unable to identify their authentic expression because daily responsibilities obscure it, likening it to a hand held in front of one's face. To overcome this, they advise seeking feedback from trusted friends or family who can recognize one's passions more clearly than the individual can. The speaker emphasizes that even a brief conversation can reveal a person's core passions, and encourages listeners to actively kindle their authentic expression each day, using external input when needed.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. I'm continuing to think a lot about this idea of your yes, your purpose equals your authentic expression. It really is how you authentically express yourself. It's what you're passionate about. It's what gets you excited, what gets you fired up in a good way. The more that we're able to connect with those things that fire us up, that feel authentic to us, And we start to embrace those and nurture those and spend time with those, the bigger our fire gets. You know, we keep adding more and more kindling to the fire, more firewood to the fire, and it gets bigger. All right, the fire doesn't grow bigger by letting it simmer out. All right, we need to keep adding that kindling to the fire. So I think probably one of the biggest questions people have when they start to think of Their purpose, their yes, is, well, what is my authentic expression? A lot of people probably feel like they don't know. They don't know what it is. And so we can so easily get so buried underneath quote-unquote what we're supposed to be doing and realistic and practical and day-to-day in life that we kind of can't see our hand right in front of our face. One thing that might be helpful is if you're feeling like, I just don't know what my authentic expression is, is ask someone close to you. Ask a good friend or some friends. Ask a family member that you, you respect their opinions, that you feel like they understand you. Ask someone close to you, in your opinion, what do you think I'm most passionate about? They're gonna know. When I work with people and I coach with people all the time, I only need to sit with them for about 5 or 10 minutes before I feel like I have a clear understanding of what they're passionate about. Yet when they try to articulate it for themselves, it's difficult. We've got so much baggage and stuff in our way, we can't see our hand right in front of our face. So your moment of yes for today is, is to continue to kindle that fire of your authentic expression. And if you need help, ask a friend, ask a family member, ask someone, and I'm sure they will have some very helpful ideas of what they feel Your, your passion and your yeses. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day.
