AMOY: Help God!

A speaker describes moving a 20-person workshop to a gym when the original room was too small. After surrendering the problem to God, they found a curtained-off area nearby that worked perfectly, illustrating how trust can turn impossible situations around.

Good morning everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today, for Saturday. You know, I had a situation a few days at work, a few days ago at work where I had a morning workshop and the space I was doing the workshop in was too small. It was really, really small. I had about 20 people in a tiny conference room and even moving the chairs and moving the table and moving everything, just there wasn't going to be any space. To have a workshop, let alone get people up on their feet to be active. And so I remember walking out of the conference room and kind of walking and thinking to myself, sort of in a moment of total surrender, like, all right, God, I have no idea what the solution is right here, but I know that there's a solution. And I remember being conscious of the fact that I was totally helpless and surrendering and thinking, all right, it's the morning. What better way to start my day than totally surrendering? To love, to God, and not having any clue how this situation was going to be taken care of. And as I was walking, it was in a gym. I walked through a door into an open space, and there was a curtained-off room in there. And I said, this is perfect. So I ran back into the conference room. I had everybody pick up the chair, follow me into the space, and we made a makeshift sort of classroom or workshop space in that curtained-off area, which ended up being perfect. And it was a great workshop. And then I did another one later in the day. I used the same space. It went well. And so for me, that moment of yes was about total surrender in the moment of being conscious of the fact of I have no solution here and I need one. I need a way and I trust. that the solution is going to present itself. And these were people I'd never met or worked with before, and we were able to transition into the new space, start a workshop, and everybody had a great time in the process. So I know we talk about a lot about surrender and letting go and trusting, and that was sort of a perfect example of how it worked for me this week. So that is your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone. Sparty on!
