AMOY: Interconnected!

A motivational speaker reflects on how nature's ecosystems mirror human interconnectedness, arguing that our ego creates false independence and loneliness. He emphasizes that our actions ripple through others' lives, whether we realize it or not, and invites listeners to join a "Yes 101" program starting November 18.

Good morning everyone, happy Friday. Here is your moment of yes for today. Your moment of yes for today is sponsored by the Jove Improvisation. That's right, actually tomorrow night, Saturday, back in Palm Beach, Frank, Jesse, and I will be taking the stage again for another improvisational comedy show. That's at 8 o'clock Saturday night. So Florida friends, if you're in the area, come on out. Would love to see you. That's my, that's my plug, shameless plug for today. Your moment of yes for today is, as I'm sitting out here doing my listening today, and it's interesting just to see how sometimes there's just a real deep quietness and a stillness to what's going on, almost as if nothing's going on. And then you start to hear a few birds, you hear a few different animals, and all of a sudden Yeah. And all of a sudden the whole back lake comes alive. And thinking this morning and just how interconnected we are to so many different things. Obviously with nature, we can see all the different— the interconnectedness of the ecosystems. But even just for us in our day-to-day lives between our family and then our friends and then our workers and The community and the circles, concentric circles just kind of keep going out and out and out. And how often I think the ego part of us wants to make us feel so independent, which can also create a sense of loneliness. And that we're not needed or that we're not important. And the reality is, is that we are so interconnected and interdependent on so many people in a positive way, in a healthy way, because we're so connected and we so influence and we affect so many people around us in a positive way. Obviously, it can be a negative way as well, but we don't always recognize how valuable we are and the impact that we have on others. And how to remove ourselves from one situation and how that really does have an impact. And just to see that as a good thing. And that whether we know it or not all the time, there are so many people that are blessed and grateful for us being in their lives. So today I'm just kind of embracing that interconnectivity and that interdependence that we have with each other. the world. So that's your moment of yes for today. And if anyone wants to start the next Yes 101 program, that's going to start this Monday, November 18th. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a wonderful day.
