Replace judgment with empathy by stepping into someone else's shoes whenever you feel tempted to judge. The speaker calls it a daily "moment of yes" challenge: pause, imagine their perspective, feel what they might be feeling. Practice it with a teller, family member, or friend and watch your relationships shift.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. Your moment of yes for today is a challenge. Every time you are tempted to judge another person, whether it's the teller, the family member, a friend, I want you to instead of judge, I want you to jump into their shoes. Not literally, obviously. But I want you to jump into their shoes empathically and just see things from the way that they're seeing it. Whether it's the teller, the family member, the friend. So instead of thinking about what you need from the situation, think about How are they seeing? What are they seeing? What might be going on from their perspective that is allowing them or forcing them to respond the way that they are responding? And I want you to go through this every time that you can today. Instead of judging, jump into their perspective with empathy and just notice and feel what they might be thinking or what they might be feeling in that situation. See how that shifts or transforms your relationship with them in that moment. When you move from reacting or, or, or judging into responding from a compassionate standpoint of empathy. See how that goes for you today. I'm curious to see how that goes. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a wonderful day.
