Good morning everyone. Here's your moment of yes for today. Happy hump day! How's everyone doing? How are those Halloween costumes coming? We're getting close, getting close. I've got a good one coming, but I'll have to surprise you with that. So, your moment of yes for today is, what gets in the way of you being and living authentic? What is it? What stands in the way? What prevents you from showing up that way at work, showing up that way in your relationships? I know for me, sometimes it's the temptation or the yearning to be perfect or to look perfect or to come across perfect, which in turn kind of creates sort of a pleasing mentality instead of always being truly authentic. Now, I feel like I do a pretty good job being authentic and trying to live my authenticity, but I think the thing that gets in the way more often than not is that desire to want to look to look good and that you're doing things correctly. I call it that kind of that desire for perfection. And we're all striving to, to want to get better and be better. But that desire for perfection can really keep us from being okay with our own mistakes, our vulnerability, our ability to make mistakes and fail. And so as we embrace our authenticity, it's okay to accept that we don't have everything figured out. We don't have all the answers. And that we still actually really screw up badly at certain things, but we're working on it. And that's about— and unless we're being authentic, we're never going to face up to the things that we actually need to work on and face and get better at if we're only ever trying to put across this Facebook image of perfection and beauty, or whatever it is for you. So today, embrace that authenticity, embrace your vulnerability and your mistakes and your fallibility, and just be you. in every aspect of your life. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day.
