Here is your moment of yes for today. Good morning. My question for today is, what are you trying to control? I finally got to listen to the Lance Armstrong interview with Oprah, and the one thing that really struck me from, from him reflecting on the horrible things that he did as far as the lying and the lawsuits and trying to cover his tracks, and he mentioned the word control a few times, that he would try to control the situation. And when things got out of hand, he acted the way he did because he needed to control the situation. And I think more than anything, that's what struck me from his admission and coming clean from everything that went on. And it made me think about myself and it made me think about the ego and some of the things that we do that are so out of character, that are irrational. That are unkind, unloving. And I thought about it, wow, it's really this idea of when we are trying to control a situation or control an outcome and it's not going the way we want it to go, that often leads us to acting out of character, out of our behavior and doing some things that are really not our true authentic self, our authentic yes. So for me this morning, I am sitting, I'm listening, and I am reflecting on what am I trying to control right now? And is it causing me to perform or act in a way that I ultimately don't want to do? So if you get a moment today, ask yourself, what are you trying to control? And maybe, maybe that answer will bring you back to to a sense of surrender, letting go, trusting, and living your yes. That is your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful day.
