January 2nd, 2013. Here is your daily moment of yes, and the birds are joining in with me this morning. You know, as we think about New Year's resolutions, it's really easy to think that in order to become a better person or do some things that we really want to do, that we've got to add more activities to our already filled day. And if you're like me, it's, it's easy to feel like I need to be doing more. We get caught in this temptation of feeling like To be more successful, to find more peace, to get more business, I've got to be doing, doing, doing, doing. And that is true. We are going to be inspired to do new things from that inspiration, from that listening and that reflection. But one thing that might happen as we aspire to be better and to do more things is that we might notice that there's actually some things that we already do That we can let go of. There might be some distractions or obstacles or habits that we do already on a daily basis that don't need to be a part of our routine moving forward. So a lot of doing more or being better might be letting go of some of the things that we've carried with us up until this point. So as you take some time to listen, to reflect, to pray, to meditate, Notice those things that are preventing you from doing and being the person that you want to be. So maybe some of the resolutions for the new year is going to be not adding more, but letting go of what we already have. That's your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful, wonderful day.
