Life is improvisation without a script. The speaker argues we should embrace each moment with a "yes, and" attitude—accept what happens, then build on it purposefully. Respond from love or purpose, and improvisation becomes a source of peace instead of fear.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. How are we doing? You know, when you talk to someone about improvisation and they hear that you improvise, people are usually sort of intimidated by that idea of improvisation. Oh, I could never do that. When in reality, when you think about it, improvisation sort of is what we do every day. And there are very few of us that live for I would say that there's actually none of us that live by a specific script. Now, we try to give ourselves a script as far as we try to outline and write our own script very detailed, and we can get a little flustered when things don't work out that way. But in reality, as we go through our day, as we go through our life, we don't know what's going to happen. We don't know what's going to happen from moment to moment. We can anticipate, but we don't know. And we can wish and we get into routines, but we are constantly having to improvise, having to adjust, adapt, and respond to whatever is happening right now. And a lot of what we talk about in A Moment of Yes is being able to embrace and accept whatever is happening in the present moment and then use that in a way that brings you peace and good and respond in a way that makes you feel good. Respond in a positive light. Respond from purpose. Respond from the standpoint of God, of love, of the universe. And so that's all improvisation is. Improvisation is acceptance of the present moment and then building off of it. That's it. That's yes, and. That's saying yes, acceptance to the present moment, and here's what I'm going to do with it. Here's some more information about it. Life is improvisation. You all do it every day. It's just a little bit tougher when you have to get on stage and make people laugh. But not all of us have to do that. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a wonderful day. Have a wonderful day.
