A speaker describes his practice of pausing to listen for inner guidance beyond ego, sharing two moments when he followed a non-egoic prompting despite resistance. He acknowledges the uncertainty of knowing whether the message comes from God, love, or the universe, but argues the practice itself matters more than certainty.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. It's to stop, listen, and trust. It's a little bit different than the old stop, drop, and roll, which is still— use that in the fire. Stop, drop, and roll. But through just normal situations of our life throughout the day, stop, listen, and trust. On 2 different occasions recently, I've been somewhere and not even necessarily asking God, love, the universe for feedback, and I've gotten a strong message 2 different times. And I know some of— sometimes people ask, well, how do I know if, if the message is coming from me, just my own thought, my own consciousness, or is it coming from God, love, the universe? And the answer is, I don't know. It's just practice. And even as I say that, I still obviously I question My own listening and my own thoughts all the time. But just the practice of doing it, the discipline of doing it, and the trust, the trust of what you hear and following it. The 2 examples that happened recently, the reason I have a feeling that it wasn't just me thinking that this is what I'm supposed to do is because in both instances, It was two things that I was inspired to do, that I heard a message encouraging me to do it. It's not two things that necessarily my ego wanted to do. And, you know, it was one thing if I heard this message, go to a movie and treat yourself with a big popcorn. I would, okay, I would want to do that, and because Travis's ego might want to do that. But the two things that happened recently are two things that Travis and his ego wouldn't necessarily want to do. But— and I even tried to avoid both of them for a moment, but trusted, followed, turned around, and actually ended up doing that thing that I felt like I was inspired to do. So stop, listen, and trust. We don't know what the outcomes are going to be, but if we can just get in that discipline of listening and the trusting that comes with following the listening when it happens, For me, that's, that's enough right now. And this is enough because that's your moment of yes. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
