The speaker argues that regret comes from second-guessing past decisions with information you didn't have then. Instead, make the best choice you can right now based on your purpose, accept the outcome, and move forward. Each moment is your chance to decide without looking back.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. The idea, the moment for today is live without regret. Easier said than done. I was talking to a guy yesterday and he's thinking about sort of his next big decision in life and he could do this, he could go to this foreign country, he could try this internship. He has all these wonderful things he could do but he's afraid of making the wrong choice. And what if he makes this decision and this happens, etc., etc.? And I think we can all play that game. I think we've all played that game at different times in our life where we think, had I done this, this wouldn't have happened, or had I done this, this might have happened. And the reality is, obviously hindsight is 20/20, but we are constantly making the best decision we can make in this moment. And if we can walk away from every choice that we make feeling like I made the best choice that felt right in that moment. Looking back is totally irrelevant. Now we can look back to go, okay, what did I learn from this experience? What did I learn from this? But to look back and second-guess every decision that you've made because you wanted the outcome to be different, well, that's, for lack of a better word, that's hell, is to constantly look back and just second-guess and judge ourselves. But we are constantly in— wherever we are right now is perfect. This moment is perfect. And whatever choice that we make in this moment that feels right, and when we can connect it back to our purpose or divine motives, and if we make a choice based on that, we can live with whatever happens. And then in time, we need to make the next decision. We make the best decision in that moment and we live with what happens. So don't live with regret. It's totally irrelevant. Where are you right now? What are you doing right now and what is the best choice, decision for your next step right now? That's your moment of yes, everyone. Have a wonderful day.
