In this brief motivational segment, the speaker shares a personal favorite quote from Wayne Dyer—"it's none of my business what you think of me"—and uses it as a daily "moment of yes." The talk explores how people often waste energy trying to please others and manage the stories others create about them. It argues that true fulfillment comes from being fully authentic to oneself, letting go of the need to control others' perceptions, and focusing on one's own purpose and heart. By embracing authenticity, the speaker suggests we can form more genuine relationships, as we no longer hide behind others' expectations. The segment ends with a reminder to adopt this mindset for the day.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. You know, Wayne Dyer has a favorite quote of mine. He says, it's none of my business what you think of me. I love that, right? It's none of my business what you think of me. We tend to get all wrapped up into worrying about what other people are going to think about what we do. I mean, it makes sense. We have friends, we have family, people that love us. We want to make them happy. We want to please them. But all that time that we spend wanting to please, wanting to make other people happy, all we're doing is getting wrapped up in trying to appease their story that they have about us, which can be exhausting. It can be a lifetime of exhaustion instead of keeping our focus not selfishly but selflessly on us and our authenticity. Because the hardest thing we can really do is be fully authentic to ourselves. Because when we're fully authentic to ourselves, we are letting go of whatever story, good or bad, that others create about us. And the reality is, it is always whatever someone else thinks about us, good or bad, it is just the story that they have created about us. And we can spend our whole lives trying to influence their story or control their story, Or we can just be as authentic to our purpose, to our yes, to our heart as possible, trying to be that image, that idea of love that we strive to be authentically for us. And as a result, how other people respond to that is really not ultimately up to us. It's up to them and their story. And so in the process, we have more genuine, authentic relationships because we're not having to hide who we are based on what we hope other people are going to think. So today's moment of yes, it is none of your business what you think of me. That's your moment of yes for today. Have a great day, everyone.
