Most people live the same day over and over, like a bad movie sequel. Break the pattern by saying yes to new experiences: meet different people, take unfamiliar routes, stretch yourself. Curiosity and novelty beat comfort and boredom.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. Happy Thursday. Now, there's been very few movie sequels out there that have really been that good, you know. So my generalization that most sequels aren't good, I think, is pretty accurate. So let's just— let's go with that. And a lot of movie sequels, they try to take the, the same story from the first one, tweak it in the second one, and it just doesn't work. We're like, we've seen that story before. We've been there. We've done that. It's just not interesting to us. And life is really no different. We kind of mistake the sunrise every morning with thinking that that is reason to act out the same routine, the same story, the same beliefs, the same pattern as we have the day before or the week before or the months or the years before. If we're not careful, we get stuck into this Reliving the same sequel over and over and over again. So I challenge you today, I challenge you every day, is to not tell the same story every day, to get out of that comfort zone, to get out of the routine, to live your yes in a big and authentic way that is about you learning and growing and stretching and not knowing, but finding yourself in a place where You don't know the answers. You don't know what's going to happen next. Where obviously you still feel safe, but it's mixing things up. Meet someone new. Take a different way to work. Stretch yourself. Try something new. So I challenge you today to stop living the same sequel over and over again. It's as boring as you going and watching someone else's story. So challenge yourself. Push yourself. Live, be curious, have fun. That's your moment of yes for today.
