Anxiety and frustration come from feeling separate from others and from a shared source. Reframe situations as connected to a common intelligence, and you move from win-lose thinking to win-win outcomes, the approach Stephen Covey advocated.

Hello everyone. Here's your moment of yes for today. This morning, as I was doing some listening and reflection, I got thinking about a situation that I'm not really looking forward to. And as I just did some listening and looking at it and doing some inquiry and looking at it a little deeper, the idea that came to me was I was seeing this situation from a mindset of separation. And for me, when I think about that, when I feel anxious or frustrated or afraid, Especially when I'm not looking forward to something, it usually means that I have taken myself and I've separated myself from the other person or the situation, instead of seeing both of us or all of us as sort of operating under the same law, the same principles. For me, it's taking it to love, taking it to the divine, taking it to the universe, and seeing that we are all operating under the same intelligence, under the same source. And when I feel a sense of anxiety or stress about a situation, it usually means that I have taken myself and separated myself from the other person. I see us as being sort of motivated or operating from 2 different standpoints instead of seeing both of us coming at it from maybe not the same perspective, but from the same source. And trying, as Stephen Covey would say, looking for that win-win situation for both of us instead of feeling like there has to be a winner Or a loser. So is it possible that a situation that you are stressing about or anxious about, are you separating yourself from the other person? Are you separating yourself from the possibility of a win-win situation? So that's what I'm thinking about, listening, praying about today, and that's your moment of yes. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
