Here is your moment of yes for today. You know, recently I had to update my resume to send along for a possible improvisational opportunity, and it had me thinking. If I were truly honest and authentic about my life experience, it wouldn't look like a resume. Because when we put our resumes together, we make them look pretty. We tell all of our experience based on our successes. And we really make ourselves look good or sound good. Or am I the only one who does that? I don't think so. And you think about just if we were really to create a life resume that was authentic and honest and true, we would have things like, oh yeah, I made a huge mistake in this job. Or, wow, I really learned this huge insight here, although that wasn't the right job for me. And if we look at our life as being totally authentic, There are so many more things that we leave off when we share our life with someone. And it really is, it's in the blemishes, it's in the mistakes, it's in the screw-ups that kind of really tells us who we are as a person. And isn't that the most important thing? Isn't that the most telling about the kind of person that we are? So no, I'm not advocating you going out there and updating your resume and putting all these flaws or mistakes on it. But as you live your life, and as you share your life with others, make sure you don't leave out your imperfections. It actually makes you human. It actually makes you who you are. It makes you much more interesting and authentic. That's your moment of yes for today. Have a wonderful day. Thank you.
