Hello everyone, this is Travis Thomas for Holiday Hope for the Homeless. This is our 3rd year doing this and we're really excited. This year our goal is to provide over 200 holiday gift bags to those living on the streets in Palm Beach County. Our mission is to make sure that the homeless of Palm Beach, even during the holidays, feel seen, loved, and heard. Each gift bag roughly costs about $30. That's why we're trying to raise at least $6,000 this year so that we can create over 200 gift bags. We're grateful to be working with The Lord's Place in Palm Beach Every year there's roughly 1,200 people chronically living in homelessness on the streets. The Lord's Place helps people get out of homelessness. Their mission is to end the cycle of homelessness. So the bags that we create are going to be given to them, and then they will be distributed to those who are currently living on the streets.
