Travis Thomas talks with his son Holland about saying yes to life. Holland describes making art projects like a milk-carton gas station, playing loudly, and running around. When his younger brother gets cranky, Holland's advice is simple: give him space and don't bother him when he's waking up.

Hi, this is Travis with 30 Days of Yes, and today I've got my son with me. Holland, how are you?
Good.
Good. And Holland came in here while we were shooting a video, and I thought, hey, what a great way to talk to someone about how they're living their yes. So Holland, tell me, what, what things are you passionate about?
Well, like, well, sometimes I'm Very, very happy with what I am and what I do.
What are some of the things that you like to do?
Well, I play and run around, and sometimes I get crazy, and I'm loud.
Tell me, what art projects are you working on right now?
Well, I just made like a little gas station made out of a milk carton, and it looks very good. You could put toy cars in it, and yeah, it's very cool. And also I made— I just make— I'm just an art boy that I like make lots of art stuff.
What are some of the art projects that you make, like Star Wars stuff?
Yeah, I like Star Wars. I like all the action in it. I make Lots of them, and I do a very good job doing that. And sometimes if you have heart issues with your brother, it might be because when he had, when he had like a little nap when you're like, when he's like 4 or 3 or 2, if you have a brother like that, and then if he goes to bed and he wakes up, he— brothers, like little brothers, could be kind of in a cranky mood when they wake up. So try your best to stay not close to them because—
Give them some space.
Just give them some space, um, because you don't want that to happen because sometimes he could hit you and just do things. So just—
So what do you do when your brother hits you?
Well, well, you don't tell on mom and dad. You just, you just stay there and just don't annoy him anymore.
Okay. All right, don't annoy him anymore. It sounds like sound advice. And so, Holland, thanks for your time, buddy.
