Rack Friday 2021 is the ninth year of an annual kindness event held the day after Thanksgiving. Instead of shopping, participants perform 2,021 random acts of kindness: buying coffee for someone, giving up a parking space, helping Salvation Army workers, baking cookies. Share your deeds on social media with #RackFriday21.

Hey everyone, it's that time of year again. It's time for Rack Friday. Rack Friday 2021, which stands for Random Acts of Kindness. This is year 9 that we started this with friends and family, and then it's grown nationally and internationally where we spend the day after Thanksgiving, typically known as Black Friday, and we do as many random acts of kindness as possible, thus transforming Black Friday to Rack Friday. So what does that mean? It just means you can do anything, right? Our goal every year is to have as many random acts of kindness as the year. So this year, 2,021 random acts of kindness. Do whatever you can. Doesn't mean you can't go out and shop, but give someone a parking space, buy someone a cup of coffee, do something for the Salvation Army workers, make cookies for your neighbor. Anything that you do, it's all going to contribute. And then post it using the hashtag #RackFriday21. That's it. Rack Friday 21. Let's go out there and get our rack on.
