Day 5 of the 30 Days of Yes series introduces a 10- to 15-minute authentic listening practice. You sit quietly in any space and notice your own thoughts, beliefs, fears, and concerns without trying to fix or meditate on them. The host frames this as foundational work you'll return to throughout the program.

Up with you, day 5, 30 Days of Yes. So how did the exercise, how did the physical activity go for you yesterday? What showed up? What did you do? Again, I've been hearing from a few of you via email. Feel free if you want to go ahead, give me a little bit of check-in. Tell me how you're doing, how you're feeling, what's showing up for you. So today's activity, day 5, is actually a big activity for the rest of the program. It's something that I encourage you to do More than just the one day that we're doing it. It's a great way to actually reflect and listen after doing an activity just to see what showed up. And it's actually a listening exercise. And so I'm going to encourage you today for your 10 to 15 minutes, try to find a quiet space, whether it's at home, in your car, under your desk. I'm not sure. Wherever it is, it's just 10 to 15 minutes of just listening. Alright. Some of you may have a practice like this, whether you do any meditation, whether you do any dictation, reflective listening, spiritual practices, wherever you're coming from. This does not have to be a spiritual practice. It is about you getting quiet and trying to do listening without problem solving. It's easy to mentally plan out our day or mentally solve a problem that we're thinking about. That is not what this is. This is really no agenda, just really trying to be quiet and be still and listen, and then notice what shows up when we do that listening. It's a great time to take notes. You might notice certain beliefs, certain fears, certain concerns that keep popping up, but just notice them. And that's what this is all about. It's just listening and noticing and trying to do it for 10 to 15 minutes, which can be a stretch for a lot of us. So that's your activity though, day 5. It's a big one. Really, really active, authentic listening. Good luck with that. Let me know if you need any help. Have a great day. That's your day 5, Up With You. Take care, everyone. Bye.
