YES 101: January 2013

Travis Thomas introduces the January 2013 cohort of the 30 Days of Yes challenge. Each day you get an emailed activity taking 10-15 minutes, and you keep a journal to track what happens. Expect resistance and fear, he says, because that's how you know you're growing.

30 Days of Yes, Yes 101. Hello, January 2013 group. Thank you so much for signing up. It's been a year ago since I started this site and started this idea, and the fact that you all are signed up for the 2013 January group, it's going to be very exciting. This is the year of yes. So before we get started, just a couple of simple things to help you out, to prepare you for January 1st. If you don't have a journal, buy yourself a journal, a little notebook, or if you do something online, use that online. But it's going to be really important that you have something that you can collect and reflect your thoughts and ideas after every activity that we do. I send out the email each night for the next day's activity. So that way, you get to see what the next day's activity is so you can plan it out a little bit. Again, ideally, Each activity takes 10 to 15 minutes, but the more time you put into it, the more time you get out of it. And again, the transformation is, is really about the effort that you put into it. They're going to be simple, fun, creative, and something new every day. During the process, some resistance is going to show up, some obstacles, some challenges, some fears. Don't be discouraged. That is part of the process. It's going to happen anytime we push ourselves out of our comfort zone. We're going to run into those little roadblocks and hiccups. Actually embrace them. That is the sign of growth. Those are benchmarks that you're actually moving in the right direction. So don't be frustrated. Embrace them. Throughout the next 30 days, if you want to be in touch with me for any additional coaching, either through email or phone, please don't hesitate to reach out. That's why I'm here. It's going to be an amazing journey. Yes 101, 2013, the year of yes. Thank you so much for signing up. If you didn't sign up, just send me an email back and I'll take you off the list or stay on it. Maybe you're on this list for a reason. Yes, 101. I am Travis Thomas. I am excited to work with you guys. Have a wonderful day.
