In this weekly coaching video, the speaker introduces the "Yes, And Challenge" for the week of April 5th, focusing on the contrast between a fear‑based mindset and a freedom‑based mindset. Citing Tracy Fenton of World Blue, he explains that fear‑driven decisions lead to narrow, restrictive thinking, while freedom‑driven decisions are rooted in trust, possibility, hope, and openness. Listeners are invited to become aware of moments when they slip into fear‑based thinking and deliberately shift to a freedom‑based perspective, then share their experiences. The video serves as both a conceptual lesson on mindset and a practical, daily challenge to cultivate more expansive, trust‑based decision‑making.

Hey everyone, here is your Yes and Challenge for the week of April 5th. Yes, it's Monday, April 5th. Here's your Yes and Challenge for the week. Now, a good friend of mine, Tracy Fenton, who started World Blue, she talks about this idea— hey, Mako, hey— she talks about the idea of a fear-based mindset and a freedom-based mindset. So when we make decisions that are based on We tend to shut down, we be near— we're narrow-minded, we tend to be sort of stiff and restrictive. And whether we're working in an organization or whether we're making a decision in our personal life, we don't want it to come from a fear-based mindset. The opposite of that, of course, is a freedom-based mindset, which is making a decision based on the, the options of opportunity, of possibility, Of trust, of faith, of hope, operating from that open-minded standpoint. And when we are choosing from freedom, we're not letting the what could happen or that worst-case scenario or that 80% of negative thoughts kind of dominate the situation. So are you operating from a fear-based mindset or a freedom-based mindset? When we get sucked into these, these different spirals, where we're being dominated by these fear influences, we know that we're stuck in a fear-based mindset. There is no out of that hole compared to switching into a freedom-based mindset, which is really what decision would I make if I trusted, right? If I trusted love, if I trusted God, if I trusted, you know, wholeness in the universe. So operating from that freedom-based mindset. So today, your Yes and Challenge is to notice throughout the day, every day, when you catch yourself in a fear-based mindset, can you switch into a freedom-centered mindset? And if you do, let me know, post it, would love to hear about it. That's your Yes and Challenge for the week. Have a great week, everybody.
