In this short motivational video, the speaker delivers the weekly "Yes, And" challenge for the week of March 15th. He mentions wrapping up a four‑week class at Lynn University and recounts watching the Hulu documentary In and of Itself, which features a magician named Derek who asks audience members to select an "I am" statement from a wall of prompts and then weaves those choices into his performance. Inspired by that exercise and a routine he learned in a Bryan Johnson coaching class, the speaker explains his own "I am" identity statement practice, where he writes affirmations such as "I am patient" or "I am resilient" each morning, sometimes affirming qualities he does not currently feel. He challenges viewers to spend a few minutes each day writing their own empowering "I am" statements to energize and guide their day, encouraging them to internalize these affirmations throughout the day. The video ends with a friendly sign‑off.

Good morning, everyone. This is your Yes and Challenge for the week of March 15th. It is March 15th, halfway through the month. Crazy, so crazy that it looks like I'm in a crazy padded room. It's as white as white can be. Yeah, it's a whole lot of white. So a couple days left for me this week finishing up this 4-week class that I'm teaching down at Lynn University. In Boca Raton, Florida, and this is the last week of classes. And so over the weekend, actually last night, my family and I, we watched this documentary on Hulu that is called In and of Itself. Now if you watch the trailer, you're gonna be like, what in the world is this about? I didn't know, but I watched it on a recommendation and it was really, really— I don't wanna like oversell it, But I loved it. I really did. And it's this guy, I can't think of his last name, but his name's Derek. I guess he's a magician would be the easiest way to describe it. But this is a one-man show, and this is a one-man show that he performed over 500 times in New York City. And that's important because they use different elements from all the different shows that he did. But, but one of the key ideas of the show is that the people who— the audience who were attending the show that night would come into a giant room And on the wall, like a giant white wall like this, there'd be like these little 8 by 10 pieces of paper that would say, I am, and then it would have like a label, right? I am a parent. I am a teacher. I am an adventurer. I am nobody. I am all these, like, so I don't know, probably a couple hundred of these. And people had to go in and pick one that they associated with themselves, and then they would turn it in, right? And then he would incorporate his show based on what people chose. So it's really fascinating and it's actually very moving at the end to see what he does with that. All of that to say, it got me thinking about the power of that statement, I am, right? Just complete that sentence right now. I am what? So as you say that, I am what? I'm tired, I'm bored, I'm frustrated, I'm sad, or? I am. I am courageous. I am resilient. I am God's child. I am a parent, a father. I am a spouse. I am a friend. I'm a speaker. I am a coach. I'm a performer. I'm a writer. Do you see the power of the I am? And so this little routine, the I am routine is— I call it the identity statement. It's something I've been doing now since my Bryan Johnson Coach's class over a year ago. And it's part of that morning routine where I write my own I am statements. And a lot of times, I'm reaffirming who I am at my best, but sometimes I'm even affirming something that I maybe don't feel real connected to, but I want to affirm it for myself. So let's say I'm not feeling super patient. I'm going to say, I am patient, right? Because I've demonstrated that before. So I am patient. I am resilient, even if I'm not feeling resilient. So my yes and challenge, all of that to say, my yes and challenge for you this week is every day to sit down and write a few I am statements for yourself that are going to energize you, that are going to empower you for the day, and see if you can connect with those I am statements throughout the day. I am, I am, I am. Because if that's the dialogue we have running in our head, we're setting ourselves up to be as effective and to live our yes and as best as possible. So you— there you have it. There's your yes and challenge for the week of March 15th. Have a great week, everyone. Bye.
