In this weekly coaching segment, the host (Speaker A) introduces the "Yes and Challenge" for the week of November 1st, beginning with a light‑hearted question about shaving a mustache. The core challenge is a mindfulness exercise learned at a Limitless Minds coaches conference. The host explains a simple 60‑second guided meditation that uses the forearm and a finger to physically represent the present, past, and future. While breathing, participants notice when their thoughts drift to the past or future, move the finger to the corresponding point, then bring it back to the present. Speaker B counts the 60 seconds. After the exercise, the host reflects on his own wandering thoughts (a leadership session with academy soccer players) and suggests the tool can be used with his players. He encourages listeners to practice the technique daily for the week, share their experiences, and wishes them an awesome week.

Hey, good morning everyone. Here is your Yes and Challenge for the week of November 1st. I'll tell you what, the first challenge I have today is to shave this mustache off, right? Shave it or keep it? Shave it or keep it? What do you guys think? Shave it or keep it? It is funny to look at. All right. Hey, your Yes and Challenge for the week is I'm going to give you a tool and I challenge you to use it. every day this week. And I learned this, we had a Limitless Minds coaches conference for a couple of days, all the different coaches that I, or room tilters, if you will, that I'm a part of for Limitless Minds. And we did some online training. And one of our room tilters, who is a trained psychologist, gave us a guided meditation to go through. But this is the guided meditation. We'll do it together. And then this is going to be your challenge to do the rest of the week. And it works this way. So if you take your forearm, right? Or I'm actually— I'm going to use— I'm going to actually use my forearm like this, right? So if this is the present moment and this is the future, right? It's going to be reversed for you, right? Present moment, future, past. You're just going to put your finger right in the present, right? And you're going to close your eyes and you're just going to, you know, focus on your breathing and focus on your attention for 60 seconds. And as you are doing that, if you notice your thoughts going to the future, run your finger to the future, bring it back to the present. If it goes to the past, run it to the past, catch yourself, notice it, bring it back to the present. So for 60 seconds, you're just noticing where your thoughts are going. You're using your finger and you're feeling it, you're going with it, but then you just bring it back to the present moment, right? Simple. All right, I've got the, let me see, the timer going here. We're gonna do it for 60 seconds. All right, and here we go.
All right, that was 60 seconds. How'd you do? Where'd your thoughts go? I kept noticing my thought going forward to a leadership session I'm doing today with Academy soccer players. So that's where my thought kept going to that session. And in fact, I'm like, oh, this would be a good activity to do with them today. And then, oh, I'm thinking about the future, bring it back to the present moment. So this is just a mindfulness tool. And I love it because the physical touch grounds you in the present moment. And then just giving yourself that little task, that little game. So that is your yes and challenge for this week, a mindfulness tool. Give it a shot. Do it once a day at least. Let me know how it goes for you. Enjoy the week. Have an awesome week. I'll see you guys soon.
