YES vlog: April 15th

Travis Thomas announces the 30 Days of Yes program launching May 1, a 30-day challenge to help people identify and act on their personal "yes." He's leaving his full-time job to expand the initiative and shares stories like Jim Abbott's to show what saying yes looks like.

Welcome to the 30 Days of Yes Yes Vlog for April 15th, 2012. And today I am shooting the vlog from my wife's yoga studio here, and it's quiet and it's nice and a great place to find a little privacy. Wanted to update everyone with what is going on with 30 Days of Yes, what is new, what is coming up, and some different programs and opportunities that you might be interested in. Right now we are in the middle of 30 Days of Yes for Couples, which is our pilot program, the first time we've ever run this program. And we've got a great group of people who signed up and are finding ways to bring more mindfulness and consciousness to the relationships that are most important in their life. And we're seeing some real neat inspiration and real neat growth happening with this program. And this is a program we hope to offer very soon. Coming up May 1st, you might want to sign up or if you know a friend or a family member that would like to do it, but it's the original 30 Days of Yes program. And that original program is all about you finding what your yes means to you. And it's 30 activities over 30 days which is intended to have you purposefully and consciously thinking about what are the most important things in your life and to do something every day that sort of brings that out of you, your purpose or your yes. And it's been a wonderful, wonderful program. We've done it now for a couple months. We're going to do that again May 1st. And if you— on the homepage or the website, if you go to the Yes Solution page, it's where you can register for the May program. And again, that's coming up in a few days. And I would also encourage that if you have a friend or family member that would like to do it, that the two of you do it together. It's great accountability. In addition to that, you'll have the online community of people who are doing it, but it's a great opportunity for you just to have your own accountability. On the website, we've got some great blogs right now. I just have a blog and there's an attached video called Imperfect, which is about Jim Abbott. He's the ex-Major League pitcher who was born with only one arm and his inspiring story. He has a new book called Imperfect, and you can find that blog on the website. And I'm really excited about the new Yes Series blog where I will be interviewing different people who are living their yes, and you get to see how they're living their yes and how they overcome their own obstacles and fear in their life to really show up on purpose and to live their yes on a daily basis. So I'm really excited about that. And last thing for now is how I am living my own yes. And the biggest way I'm living that right now is to continue to grow 30 Days of Yes, which I'm really inspired And I'm really just committed to growing because it feels like it's just really my own individual purpose being expressed and realized right now. So as I continue to grow that, that is me living my yes. And a big way I'm doing that right now is I am leaving my current employment, which it's been a full-time job for the last 3 years, and my family and I, we're going to move on We don't know what we're doing yet. We don't know where we're going to be, but we do know that we're committed to living our yes, to living our purpose. I am committed to growing this idea, and where that takes us as a family, we don't know, but we know we're committed to just living the life that inspires us and feels like it's our highest calling. So, that is the yes update for April 15th. Thank you so much for being a part of the website. Check out the new programs coming up soon, and hopefully you can find new ways to live your own yes. 30 Days of Yes. I'm Travis Thomas. Have a great day.
