Hey, everyone, this is Tomer Malovinsky, CEO and co founder of Per Diem. Today we're going to talk about the latest features that we're launching at Per Diem. And recap, June, we got a lot of fun stuff for you, so let's jump right in. So in terms of the agenda, we'll talk about smarter payments and store credit, menu customization and scheduling, loyalty and rewards, personalized marketing tools, and one of our new experiences, order and pay at the table. All right, so lots of new features. I think what we're leading with is basically you're going to be able to leverage one of our most popular features, which is the incentivized store credit, which what you can see here on the left, where people, you know, you can incentivize your users to purchase store credit, just like the Starbucks app. And then up till now they've been able to use that in app, but when they go in store, it's been a little less convenient because we can only really use this gift card number. And so now people are going to be able to purchase store credit. And then with that, there's going to be a barcode on the store credit. And what that means is basically you're going to be able to have the one of those barcode scanners that Square sells or you can buy on Amazon too. And basically you're going to be checking people out if they want to pay in person with store credit, you're going to be checking them out as a gift card. And then what you're going to do is you're just going to, you know, with your barcode scanner, you're going to scan this barcode right here. That'll put the number automatically into the point of sale so that your barista or whoever's working at the counter doesn't have to look at them and say, okay, seven, seven, eight, three. You know, and that slows things down. So this will be a way that you can incentivize store credit. It's obviously, it closes the loop in terms of, you know, the whole store credit feature and really putting us on par with Starbucks. And so we're really excited about this feature and what it means for you guys. All right, so moving on, another feature that we're adding, a lot of you guys do like larger orders. So we added previously, if you need a limit, you know, specific items and you can limit them to say, hey, you can only order 5 of this item or something like that. But if you do want to enable these orders now, we're auto, we're adding like an autograph feature. So basically you'll be able to determine at a certain dollar threshold, hey, if anyone spends over $200, then they have to pay at least whatever tip. Obviously, you know, it's not the best situation in the world if your baristas have to make a bunch of drinks or get stuff prepared and then they're not taken care of, that could lead to, you know, some issues with your employees. So this feature should help to mitigate that menu customization and scheduling. So one thing that's big here is modifier quantity selector. So we're making improvements here. Up until now, this feature was more or less used more for our build a box, but we've gotten more and more requests for a modifier quantity. So, hey, I have all these different flavors of syrups and people, you know, I sell them 50 cents per pump, but some people want to get two or three. And so this will let you do that. And basically you're just going to be setting it up in per diem under each one of these modifiers. And then you would enable the modifier quantity. And yeah, it'll just work like that. And then anyone who selects on that modifier, it'll be optional, not required, but anyone who selects that modifier can then choose to add more to the cart. Cool. One feature that we added is the recurring weekly pre sale. So pre sale was really popular, especially around like holidays and stuff like that for a lot of our bakeries. But now, you know, we have had a lot of merchants that have requested that, hey, I'd like to kind of sell the same thing over and over every week. Whether it's like a certain day where we, we do like where we bake off loaves of bread or maybe, you know, whatever it is, if you just have a pickup day for something like a special pie or something like that, then the weekly pre sale, hey, every Friday ordering days are gonna be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. And then that'll basically let people order every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for a Friday pickup. So that's a cool feature as well. Good for lots of bakeries or special occasions that you're going to have at your at your store. One thing that's exciting on the visual side, we have our third layout that we're adding to the app. So the default has kind of been the big square or I'm sorry, the small square option where, you know, I generally recommend this one because especially if you have a big menu, because then people can scroll through your menu faster and It's a little bit easier if you have a more limited menu. Then going with the big images is popular as well. This is kind of like sweet green style, but what we're adding is this kind of like horizontal view, if you will, where we have more expanded listings. And I think the nice thing here is that you're going to be able to get your menu item descriptions here as well as you can see. So that's a new addition there. And it does look, I think if you don't have a ton of images or your images might not be like, you know, what sells things, then it might be better if like, you know, if you're more limited on images. Anyhow, it's a new selection. You guys can choose any one of the three. And yeah, oops, we already talked about that one. So jumping into loyalty, one thing that we did add. So customer streaks have been a really popular feature. If you're on the pro plan, this is baked in. You can basically create a streak. You know, here it's 10 days streak and then you can give extra points. You can give store credit once people get to the end of the streak. And there has been some confusion. So obviously if someone comes, then they are coming for 10 days in a row and then they don't get it or something happens and they don't come on the 10th day and they can be upset. So now we do have a streak tracker in the merchant dashboard where you can go in and see under individual customers. So in case there is an issue, you'll be able to go and check and see, hey, did they actually order every day? And then they hit the minimum threshold and then with the streaks, just setting them up with push notifications, this is a big way, a good way to just get that reminder out there. So once you have the streaks turned on, then these push notifications automatically get sent out after I come for my first visit. So you can obviously customize those the way you see fit. And yeah, it's just a great way to engage, engage your customers. Birthday banners. So we know a lot of you do birthdays in square, but we do also offer as part of the app, birthday push notifications. So when people enter their birthday, they're going to get a push on their birthday and we've added these banners as well. So there's two types of banners and you can create a special birthday promo code in per diem and then basically most people just put it as birthday and then that promo code for that user when they've entered their birthday is Only good from their birthday and seven days out. And so now we've added banners. So if for some reason they don't get the push notification or they forgot and then they open the app, they'll see this banner pop up. And then they'll also see a small announcement banner as well, which is cool. And yeah, and these are other ways that you can use these banners. Chip City uses these a lot for Bogo deals. They run a Bogo deal every Wednesday. So right when people open the app, boom, it's right there and good. Just to convey a short message. Obviously, now you can also put multiple banners. So we've made it easier for you to create multiple banners. And they kind of like drag and drop which banner you want first, which you want second. And that can obviously change at different times of the year. And then another cool thing that we've added to the banners is a way to personalize them. So using your square marketing groups, we've also added the automated marketing group. So you could say, hey, for just my top spenders, I want to show this special discount just to show them my appreciation. And so you can literally set up both banners and. And promo codes just for that group. You don't even really need to do the promo codes because if you just set the banner, then they're the only ones that are going to see it. And then once they open the app, boom, you can do that same thing. You can send out push notifications to specific marketing groups and just incentivize whatever it is. You know, if you have a special VIP group or something like that, then that's great. And so, yeah, that really helps you personalize the experience. The more you personalize, you can see here much higher conversion rates. Yeah, I think that's pretty clear. And now, like I said, you're going to be able to manage multiple banners. You can already set banners to appear at on certain days with a start date and an end date. So you can set. You know, what I typically recommend to people is, you know, as you're going through your monthly kind of marketing Calendar, hey, it's 4th of July is coming up. And then, you know, later we have this and that, and if there's like a fun national chocolate chip cookie day or something like that, and then you can just schedule those banners ahead of time, or if you want to do some sort of happy hour or whatever it is, but at the beginning of the month, just go in, schedule all those banners, schedule push notifications for those specific days. Literally could be like a half hour of work. And you can use ChatGPT to help you put things together. And then you just schedule those in per diem and then boom, you have all your marketing in the app pretty much done in a half hour. And so one thing you're able to do with that is you're able to now just easily manage all the different banners you have so that they appear in the order that you want. Obviously we have this little carousel here, but generally whatever's going to appear first is going to be more visible. I would recommend put whatever's most important first. The same goes for subscriptions. Subscriptions have actually become a really popular feature. We get about 1000 orders a month through subscriptions, which is cool to see. But we have gotten some requests for, you know, you can do like, members only or if you have some, you know, basically like a staff, you know, kind of like a friends and family, if you will. So now you're able to offer certain subscriptions. So let's say you want to have an influencer subscription and you want to invite certain influencers so you can create this, like, hey, it's, you know, there has to be a minimum in there. So you can create it for a dollar, a dollar a week, a dollar a month, a dollar a year, whatever you want. And then with that you can stipulate, hey, you get so many free drinks or drinks at x percent off whatever it is. If it's something for your staff, maybe it's like, hey, you're a staff member, you get 50% off all or whatever the discount is that you give. And so you can set that up now and, you know, so again, or if you have like influencers, you create a customer group in square with those different influencers, and then you're able to create this special subscription just for those specific people. So that can be really powerful as well. And we're introducing our first web feature. So we've been working with Square on a new order and pay system. It's pretty exciting. We've built it. The good news is it's built on all. Like, if you did want to do this, and it's basically QR code ordering from your tables, and it might not be relevant for all of you, but the good news is you'll be able to leverage it in your current infrastructure in per diem. You're not going to have to like, manage some new dashboard. It'll all be managed. It's all managed through the per diem dashboard the same way. And then we're going to help you generate QR codes that you can put those QR codes on your tables and then if people order from that QR code, they're going to scan the QR code and it's going to open. Like you can see here, I'm on table 14. And then it's just going to zoom through on a web experience and let people order. So this is used by a lot of cafes. This is used by different like I've seen it at a lot of like ramen places, pizza places, but I have seen it in cafes here in New York and it's actually pretty great, especially if you're a little short staffed. It's good service and you know, if you don't have the ability to offer like, you know, full service, essentially it's really easy and convenient. So here you can see we're also leveraging Square loyalty. So with today with Square's order and pay system, I think there are a few shortcomings there. But nonetheless, you know, we're working with them to build this and to be more fully featured than their current experience. But you will be able to integrate your Square loyalty with this so people can sign in and, and then when they order they get points as well. So that'll be nice too. QR code scanning. So obviously we're going to help you create these QR codes in the dashboard and then you would just, we would work with you to make sure that you can get them either in some sort of enamel or you know, some plastic coating or something like that so that you can put them on your tables so that they're visible for your guests. And then one really huge benefit of this, and we've already added this feature into the mobile apps as well. But if you think about everybody that pays, if we've built it so if they give you a great rating, it's going to auto link to your Google Maps. And so it's if you think of like you're starting to get a lot of orders this way, it'll help you generate like a lot of Google Map reviews, which is obviously great. The more you have out there, the better for you and the more you're going to be seeing Google and Google is top of the funnel. So almost everyone, they're looking in Google Maps and checking out coffee shops and restaurants and obviously the better you do there, the better for you. With that, let's jump into a quick demo so we can show you how it'll work. Here we can see this is demo. People are going to scan the QR code, this is on my desktop. But obviously this will be in a mobile version as well. So here you can see the mobile version. So I'm just going to put in my name Tomer. It's already on table 34. So when they scan the QR code and that's going to be done in the merchant dashboard, you'll generate those QR codes. It'll automatically take them to whatever table is associated. And so that's really helpful. And then here, if you want to get points, you can see you can log in as well. And it's going to authenticate them with Vercel and SMS onboarding, essentially. So I'll just go ahead, assuming most people start this way too, where they're just going to jump right in and hit start ordering. And then we're basically going to load the menu that you have. Oops, let's do that again. So we're going to load the menu that you have, all your categories, all that stuff. So, hey, I'm, I want to grab some lunch really quickly. Let's grab this sandwich. You know, I'm with a friend. Let's grab two. So we'll go ahead. Boom, I'm in my cart. I'm doing this from my desktop. So you're not going to say you're not going to see Apple Pay here. So I'll just have. But it will be supported with Apple Pay here. You can see Google Pay, but because again, I'm in the browser, it's, it's not going to let me do Apple Pay, but on my phone that wouldn't be an issue. All my credit card information, hopefully there's no fraudsters out there. Awesome. So now the order went through. It's going to come through on square into the point of sale. And you can see in the upper right here, I got this notification that the order just went through and get my receipt. It's going to come through. The order is going to say tomer 34. So that's how you know, it's going to be, you know, assigned to a certain table, have my name and then it'll have the table number right next to it. And then as I mentioned, people will be able to leave a rating and then once they submit this, this will go to. This will get them out to their Google Maps review. So, yeah, that's kind of the gist of, of that feature. We're really excited about it. I think it helps us open up a whole new category and we think it can be useful for a lot of people that we build mobile apps for. So for the first year, we are offering that if you have a mobile app with us, we're going to offer that to you at no additional subscription fee and it is the same pricing structure as your current mobile app. So that's it. If you want more information on it, just hit us up@sales tripodium.com and then, yeah, we'll try to do this every month. And that's it. So have a good month of July. Happy 4th and we'll be in touch soon. Bye.
