Perdium's Daily Inventory feature lets you mark menu items sold out in one click without changing POS counts. The flag resets automatically each morning and can hide sold-out items from the menu entirely. Any manager or staff member can toggle items on and off in seconds.

You just sold your last croissant, but the orders keep coming in for it. Here's how to shut that off in 2 seconds without touching your inventory counts. This is Daily Inventory, also called Daily Out of Stock. It lets you flag an item as sold out for the day instantly without changing your POS inventory counts. So when something runs out mid-shift, you respond in real time. No inventory edits, no waiting for a sync. Anyone on your team with manager or staff access can do it from the Perdium dashboard in seconds. It saves your customers the frustration of ordering something you can't make. And here's the best part: the flag resets on its own the next morning, your local time, so nobody has to remember to switch it back. Setup lives entirely in Perdium. First, make sure the daily inventory toggle is on under Settings App Features. To mark an item out of stock, go to Menu, Management, Items, mark the checkbox beside the item, and choose Mark as Out of Stock. Got more of it later? Mark the checkbox again and toggle it right back on. And one option worth knowing: turn on Hide Out of Stock Products, also in App Features, and sold-out items disappear from the menu completely instead of showing an unavailable badge. That one's available on every plan. So what does your customer actually see? It comes down to that one setting. If "Hide out of stock" is off, the item still appears on the menu, grayed out with an "unavailable" badge. They can see it, but they can't add it to the cart. Turn "Hide out of stock" on, and the item disappears entirely for a cleaner menu. Either way, it behaves exactly the same on the mobile app and the web ordering site. Both respect the flag in real time. That's Daily Inventory. Sell out for the day in one tap and let it reset by morning. Link below to see it live.
