Parting The Clouds For Henriette

Henriette worked with a coach on brief, focused sessions that helped her see where she'd been holding herself back. Journaling in unexpected places, like sitting on the toilet, sparked realizations that gave her the courage to interview for The Bite magazine and speak her message clearly instead of backing away.
like it's just easier to open up sitting on a toilet seat, you know, journaling away. How would you describe your experience over the last days together?
Very, very precise and, uh, very clear. It certainly helped me get a lot of clarity on areas that I, um, that felt quite nebulous for me. So it was really lovely to, for holding the space for me to, to, to get that clear about. Um, yeah, yeah, it's, you know, those nebulous things in your life when you just can't see clearly. It's just so nice to have someone like you part the clouds, fog away. Bye, fog. So yeah, I mean, yeah, just— I like that they were brief. I, I don't I don't have a lot of time, as you know. I'm so time poor. And so I appreciated that they were very brief sessions and they were very precise, and I got a lot of clarity out of them.
I actually like homework.
I think, you know, I think, you know, it's important to have those quiet moments of self-reflection and journaling. Sometimes, you know, we hide even in these relationships with a coach. Sometimes we hide, you know. I mean, not that we intentionally, of course, none of us want to do that, but it's that human sort of resistance to, I don't know, like it's just easier to open up sitting on a toilet seat, you know, journaling away, you know what I mean? So I think it just allowed, um, um, yeah, that connection to self, that connection to self, to deekman, a lot of self-realization moments about, um, I guess what was important to me in my life and how I was keeping myself small, um, how perhaps I wasn't courageous enough to go outside my comfort zone, um, and just put myself out there. I think your timing was perfect because I had just finished my interviews with The Bite magazine. So I was very clear and he couldn't get a word in.
I was just talking non-stop.
Yeah, so I was very clear. I, um, yeah, very clear about my messages, what I wanted to say. And I realized that it's a new chapter in my life that I will continue to explore.
Yes, congratulations! That's super exciting. And where do you think you'd be if we hadn't work together?
I probably would have said to the magazine, oh, you know what, I don't really want to do an interview. Oh, just pick someone else, you know, I don't need it, you know, and just kind of kept myself small. Um, I probably, um, yeah, I probably I mean, I still have a lot to action, but that was the biggest one.
Yeah, and you did it. The, the action's been taken on that, and you said yes, which is phenomenal. Um, would you recommend this to someone else just like you?
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah.
