Being In Nature to Nurture Self-Belief and Self-Worth.

Vivek George spent a day in a Berlin park to show how nature builds self-belief. He struggled with self-doubt until he started believing in himself, which changed his relationships. Nature is scientifically shown to calm and heal, so he rides his bike to the park and breathes.

Hey guys, welcome back to another day of this self-love practice. My name is Vivek George, if you don't already know me, and every single day on this channel we're doing a new self-love practice because without really deeply caring for ourselves and believing in ourselves, we have a whole set of experiences in our lives, whether it's professionally, uh, with our friends or family, or even intimate relationships that are tainted with this doubt, this lack lack of confidence. But when we really believe in ourselves, when we truly love ourselves, we're able to connect to the world much more positively, in a much more healthy way, and it's more— in a more excited way as well. And I learned this the hard way, unfortunately, because for so many years I really doubted myself, and that plagued me with a lack of confidence and believing people didn't like me and a distrust and so many other issues. So this practice has been fun to do every single day with all of you because I get to truly work on a part of me that needs to continue to grow and develop, as I'm sure is for you as well. Because if you're doing this video, you're probably, you're probably wanting to continue to work on your self-belief and confidence. So in today's video, we're going to do something really fun. We're going to be in nature. We're going to take a little bit of time to be in nature. It doesn't have to be a huge hike. It doesn't have to be, you know, some mammoth park. It could be just something local. It could be your backyard. It could be a friend's backyard. Wherever kind of bit of nature you can find. A beach as well. I'm gonna go down the street to a park not too far away. I am in Berlin at the moment. A lot of green spaces in Berlin if you don't know that. It's such a green city. So I'm very lucky. So I'll go down the street and walk in that park a little bit. Just enjoy, take a break. Nature is quite healing, it's quite peaceful, it's incredibly calming. There's lots of science around it. So what a wonderful practice of self-love, indulging ourselves and caring for ourselves by being in nature. And, uh, so before I leave for and do the— that part of the video, we'll just do a quick check-in, how we're all feeling. Okay, I'm feeling good. Yeah, I'm feeling really good. I'm, um, having a nice day already. And I'm excited to be out in nature. And all of you, how are you feeling? Excellent. Cool. Well, we'll do this a little bit of nature time. I'll cut to that in a second. Hopefully you guys have some time to break from wherever you are and be in nature as well.
Okay, guys, during my time in nature, I'm in a beautiful, beautiful park and Berlin. Very big. Yeah, it's really quite nice and green here, so it's nice to have some time in this nature as a practice of self-love. I'm riding my bike, so that's why I'm kind of moving quickly and I can't always be looking at the camera, so I apologize for the lack of steadiness. But yeah, it's a lot of fun to be in here, here in nature. And to take this time for myself to calm down, chill out a little bit. I'm going to probably actually take a sit on one of these benches over here and maybe even meditate for a little bit just to enjoy this nature a little bit more, enjoy the stillness of it, enjoy my own stillness. Okay. Hopefully you guys get to enjoy some time in nature as well, uh, on foot, on a bike, or if you're flying, maybe. But, uh, enjoy. And, uh, don't forget, most importantly, have a great day. Don't forget to love yourself. Cheers.
