In this YouTube video, Vivek George leads his daily self‑love practice, explaining that consistent self‑love is essential for confidence in personal, romantic, and professional relationships. He likens self‑love to building a muscle that, when exercised regularly, provides a supportive wind behind us. After a brief guided breathing exercise and emotional check‑in, he shifts the practice toward helping others, arguing that prosocial actions reinforce self‑worth. He shares his own contribution—a $20 donation via credit card to Shanti Bhavan, a school in India founded by his family—while encouraging viewers to donate time or money to any cause they care about, no matter the amount. Throughout, he invites viewers to comment on how they feel and what they gave, linking the act of giving to increased feelings of abundance and gratitude. The video ends with a reminder to love oneself, enjoy daily activities, and engage with the community.

Hey guys, welcome back to our daily self-love practice. My name is Vivek George, and if you are new to my channel, every day we do a new self-love practice because without deep self-worth and self-belief, it's really hard to interact with the world, whether it's professionally or personally or in relationship with love, with confidence and, and positivity. It's almost like we're swimming against the current. In a river or something like that. But when we do love ourselves, it's almost like we have the wind behind us, right? So if we doubt our ability and our worth, when we connect with others, whether it's romantically or even just as friends or family, we have this tint of doubt, of doubt about ourselves and what we bring to the table. Does that person really care about us and love us? We might think twice about the way they word things or what they say to us. Same thing when it comes professionally. You know, if we don't really believe in our worth and have deep confidence, then whatever we do, we put together, may never seem like enough. But by practicing just a little bit of self-love every day, just like you would practice going to the gym or, you know, learning a language or an instrument, by practicing just for a few minutes every day, a little bit of self-love, Slowly but surely, we build this muscle of self-belief and confidence. And then when we enter those relationships or situations or meetings or whatever, we come with so much more positivity, confidence. Our work is much more easy, our relationships are much more easy. So thank you for joining me today in this practice. Today we're going to do something a little different than I usually do. We're going to do something to help others, right? So yeah, self-love is so much about us, but also when we help others, that makes us feel good, makes us feel valuable, important. People appreciate us. And so in today's practice, I'm going to encourage you to maybe donate to a cause that's important to you. It could be just a couple dollars, $5, $10, $100. Whatever amount is good enough for you. To a cause that matters. It can be political, it can be environmental, social, whatever it is. Maybe find a cause that works for you. And if you don't have the money right now, that's totally fine. Perhaps consider donating your time, maybe an hour or 30 minutes, to a local, um, animal shelter, to maybe, um, a church or synagogue or temple or mosque. They could use your help. Maybe there's a friend or family member in your life that actually could use some help from you, and that's totally fine as well. Find a cause or person or whatever that matters, put a little time or donate a little bit of money to them. Cool, how's that sound? Okay, so we're gonna do that in a second. I have actually a cause that I'm excited about, um, contributing to. And I'm, I'm gonna— I already have it all set up and I'm just gonna put in my credit card information and shoot it out. Um, maybe you have something in mind on your end. But before we do that, we're just going to do a quick check-in and how we're feeling. For me, I'm feeling pretty good. I wouldn't say it's, uh, my best day for sure. Definitely a bunch of things in my head going on. Actually, probably should do the practice of journaling. I'm going to do some meditation soon, which will definitely help me. Um, but I'm excited to do this practice as well. I'm giving back. That always helps me feel good when I, when I help others. Cool. How about all of you? How are you feeling? Maybe let's do a deep breath in together. I would love to do that. I hope you will join me. Let's do one deep breath in together and out. And out. That was really good, actually. One more, one more. And out. Okay, awesome. Okay, so I'm going to donate to this cause in India. Organization called Shanti Bhavan. It's a school for children from really poor backgrounds, and I love supporting them. And yeah, it's a very solid organization. I have to be honest now, I probably should say This is a— my family started it, so I definitely know the organization. And but I do always think it's good to continue to contribute whenever I can, when I have the means and time. So yeah, cool. But I'm sure all of you have something, maybe it's a political organization or something local or environmental that you love. Please contribute. Cool. Okay, I, I'm donating $20, something— nothing's huge, but for me it's a good amount for now. Awesome. Gonna give now, see how it goes. Perfect, it worked. Awesome. I got a little, little thank you message for my donation. I don't know if you can see it. Yeah, awesome. Okay, we'll do a quick checkout, how we're feeling. Yeah, I'm feeling good now actually, just seeing this cute photo and this, uh, thank you message makes me feel good. And, um, yeah, just appreciating abundance of the universe giving me this opportunity to contribute. Thanking the universe for creating this opportunity to work with all of you in my self-love practice and your self-love practice. Please leave a comment with, with, you know, how you're feeling and what you gave to. I'd love to see the causes or the things people are supporting. And if you need a little bit more self-love practice today, check out this video over here. Have a wonderful day. Enjoy whatever you're up to. Enjoy your work, your— the people you're spending your time with. But most importantly, don't forget to love yourself. Take care. Peace.
