In this vlog-style self‑love video, Vivek George explains why daily self‑belief practice is essential for healthy relationships and high‑quality work, then shares a spontaneous day he spent in Berlin as a concrete illustration of “living in the moment.” He describes meeting a friend from Lisbon, visiting an art exhibit at a venue he calls Funk House/Funk Club, and impulsively dancing all night at the Sissy Fist club. From this experience he derives a simple daily practice: give yourself permission to let go of scheduled tasks for 5–20 minutes (or longer) and do something that brings you joy—whether it’s going to a new bar, cooking, playing an instrument, hiking, or any unplanned activity. He invites viewers to try the practice right then, share what they do in the comments, and reinforces that self‑love includes granting yourself freedom to act on spontaneous urges.

Hey guys, welcome back to another day of this self-love practice. My name is Vivek George, and if you don't already know me, every single day on this channel we practice self-belief and confidence in a different way. Because without that self-love and knowing our, our self-worth, we can never really connect with others and do the best work that we truly can. Because if we doubt ourselves, if we don't really love ourselves, then we believe that our relationships are not as healthy and strong as they could be or we want them to be. And we believe that the work that we're doing isn't up to par because we constantly are doubting ourselves. So by spending a little bit of time practicing these different self-belief techniques, slowly but surely, like every other skill or every other mental or physical muscle that you work on, regular basis, over time, the self-belief becomes solid and becomes very strong. And so today's practice is a fun one. It's a, it's a different one. And it was inspired by my day yesterday, and actually into my morning, actually. So yesterday, I was out in Berlin. I'm currently in Berlin right now. And I was having brunch with a friend. And I ran into somebody that I'd met once in Lisbon and just randomly ran into each other. And I kind of just let the day flow and we connected. We were hanging out and doing random things. And then I even went out on my own at a club in Berlin that I had been wanting to check out that was nearby where I went with this woman. And I just danced the night away. Literally, it sounds a little cheesy, but I did. I danced the night away till 3 or 4 in the morning. When I had all these other plans set, but I was having so much fun. I was in the moment, and even though I kept thinking to myself, I gotta do this, I gotta do that, I'm supposed to do this, I'm supposed to do that, I realized like, okay, those things were important, but maybe I can let them go because I'm really enjoying myself. I was going to new places that I had never been. I was meeting people I had never met, and I was listening to music that really connected me. It really— I was just enjoying so much. So today's practice, I want to encourage all of you to try to just let go for 10 minutes, 20 minutes. Spend a little bit of time doing something that, you know, maybe isn't scheduled for today, wasn't planned today, but really will bring you joy, make you happy. Or experiment. Just go somewhere that you've been thinking about going but have been holding yourself back, kind of like I did. I want to go to this club called Sissy Fist here in Berlin. I've never been, and I saw it. It was nearby where I was, and I said, why don't I just go and just see what happens? I literally thought I was going to be there for an hour. I was like, um, maybe the music won't be good, or the crowd won't be good. I'll leave quickly. I ended up staying there for 6, 7 hours. It was so much fun. Now, you may not have 6, 7 hours today to just randomly go to a club, but you probably have 10 minutes. Probably 5 minutes, maybe even an hour. Give yourself the freedom to do whatever calls you in this moment. Maybe take the first thing that comes to mind. Maybe you want to cook a dish. Maybe you want to play an instrument that you were thinking about. Maybe you want to go to a club or go to a bar and have a drink or have a dinner somewhere fun that you haven't been to. Whatever it is, go for a hike, whatever it is. You have the freedom to do it. You have the permission because of this practice. This is a beautiful practice of self-love because you're choosing to do something for yourself even though you hadn't planned it already. Awesome. So take a moment to think about what that's going to be right now with, with me. Okay, awesome. And when you have a moment, do it, and please share in the comments what you do. I'd love to hear. I told you about my day. I went to this club called Sissy Fist, and before that, with this woman that I had randomly met in, uh, Lisbon, we went to an exhibit that she was, um, that some of her artwork was being displayed at, at this place called Funk House, I think it's called. Yeah, Funk House, Funk Club, something like that. It was an incredible space. It was so interesting to be there. I loved it. It was quite a fun day. Now that I'm sharing mine, I'd love to hear what you guys do. No matter what, this is permission. You have the right. You deserve this. Thank you again for joining me for another day of this self-love journey. Have a wonderful day, whatever you end up doing, and don't, don't forget to love yourself. Take care.
