Laughter is the Best (Self-Love) Medicine

In this YouTube self‑love session, Vivek George greets viewers, explains the purpose of daily self‑belief practices, and introduces a light‑hearted humor segment. He conducts a brief check‑in/check‑out routine to gauge his mood, then shares three short jokes generated with ChatGPT, emphasizing that laughter can boost dopamine and improve self‑worth. Vivek encourages viewers to watch comedy (e.g., The Office) or seek funny content online, and invites the community to contribute their own jokes in the comments. He mentions upcoming travel that will affect future video locations, thanks the audience, and closes with a reminder to love oneself. The video blends personal reflection, humor, and community engagement to promote self‑love through laughter.

Hey guys, welcome back to another day of this self-love practice. My name is Vivek George if you're new to the channel. If you've come back from a previous session, love to have you, so nice to have you back. Hey guys, welcome back to another day of this self-love practice. If you don't know me, my name is Vivek George, and every single day on this channel we do a new self-love, self-belief practice. Because by cultivating more self-belief and self-worth, it really helps us in so many facets of our lives, whether it's professionally, intimately, or just with friends and family, right? If we feel good about ourselves— listen, remember the last time you felt so good about yourself, you felt so confident, it just made everything feel so much easier, and you felt more connected and loved? And so by cultivating self-belief every day through these practices, we slowly but surely develop that mental muscle that we are important, that we are valuable and loved. So I love doing these practices for myself, but even more so with all of you, because by coming together, by sharing and discussing and, and commenting and just getting your general feedback and putting myself out there It feels like I'm part of this larger group. And so today's practice is literally a very fun self-love practice, very light and fun. Um, we're gonna just— I'm gonna share a couple jokes because laughter is the best medicine, right? And so I'm gonna share a couple jokes that, uh, I worked with ChatGPT to create. They're very, very short and silly, so don't take them too seriously, but they're meant to just give us a little bit of laughter. Uh, but if you do have the time, maybe you could spend a little time watching a favorite TV comedy show or something on social media that makes you laugh. Or if you have the time, a longer movie that you've always enjoyed and gives you a couple laughs. For me, the TV show The Office always always gets me. So I'm going to share these jokes, but I'm going to spend a little bit of time afterwards watching maybe a clip or two on YouTube from The Office. Great, guys. Cool. So this will be fun and short, but hopefully it'll get some of those good dopamine chemicals and other chemicals of laughter going. But before I share these incredible, well-written jokes, We do a little check-in and check-out. That's the normal routine, just to see how we're feeling before we do the practice and how we're feeling after. So right now I'm feeling good. I got these, you know, jokes together. I was already sort of chuckling. I wouldn't say I was like rolling over laughing, dying over there, but I had a couple laughs. And so I'm feeling pretty good, I would say. And yeah, let's do it. Okay, the first joke. Why don't elevators get good stand-up gigs? Because their jokes are full of ups and downs. What can I say? Not, not the, the highest quality, but, but solid. Okay, um, next one. Why don't scientists Trust atoms. Because they make up everything. And the very last one we got is: Why did the bicycle fall over? Because it was two-tired. Anyway, that's my ch-ch jokes for the day. You can give, you know, feel free to send large amounts of money for my incredible, my incredible stand-up skills. Oh no, I'm just kidding. But hopefully, hopefully you brought a little laughter, just my silliness in general maybe brought some laughter. But I do encourage you, if you have some time, spend a little extra time, you know, find something online that makes you laugh, that you enjoy, or spending time with someone who's pretty funny that gives you some, a couple laughs. You deserve it. We all deserve it. Excellent, guys. Thanks again for joining me for another day of this self-love practice. You know, humor is definitely the best medicine. It makes us all feel a little bit better, makes life feel a little bit lighter. We'll do a quick checkout and then we'll wrap things up. Um, yeah, yeah, feeling good. Just, uh, happy to do this. I'm taking a little travel time coming up. So these videos will be happening from elsewhere in the world, but, uh, so I'm excited for that. And, uh, but right now I'm just grateful to be able to do this with all of you. Please share any jokes that you might have for me in the comments. I'd love to hear the stand-up comedians in the group, or even if just amateur, just having fun folks, uh, or maybe want to ask ChatGPT for a joke that you can share with me. I would love to read them. Otherwise, have a wonderful day and don't forget to love yourself. Take care.
