Bombshell Messaging

Zee Slingsby teaches coaches and course creators how to turn Instagram followers into paying clients using buyer psychology. She breaks down messaging formulas that use "you" language to move people from problem awareness to purchase, and explains why education and storytelling work when framed correctly. Real examples show carousel, reel, and story structures that need at least 12 touchpoints to convert.

I am so excited to have you here inside of Bombshell Messaging. I know you've probably been hearing it a lot. Messaging is so important. Messaging is what's going to be the difference maker for you. And it's true, it is going to be a huge difference maker. What I have found with my clients though is it's not just messaging, it's understanding the formula, the psychology behind messaging, and the psychology of your dream client buyer behavior. So we're going to unpack all of that today. And my goal is that when you walk away, you walk away with an understanding so deep that you could start getting into your own content immediately and putting in place the different techniques that I teach you to call out your dream client so that they feel spoken to and activated by your content. So let's jump in. I am going to share screen. Bombshell messaging, the exact messaging that leads to clients taking out their credit cards over and over and over. Okay, so when you master your messaging, you are going to see your dream client everywhere. Interesting, right? So not only will your dream client see you, you will see your dream client everywhere. And I feel like this is a different take, 'cause here's what I want you to think about. A lot of times I have clients that are looking at their stories. Here's who watch— who's watching my stories. Here's who's liking my posts. And a lot of times what I'll hear is, I don't see anybody in there who's my dream client. That's what we're going to change. You're going to start to become seen by your dream client. They're going to be watching you and you're gonna see them everywhere, and they're going to be activated to move forward with you. So messaging has evolved. And it's going to continue to evolve. This isn't a one-time evolution, and that's why eventually I'm probably going to have to rerecord this training. This is not the first time I've done a training on messaging, and it's not also the last time I will do a training on messaging. Messaging has evolved quite a bit though in the last year, and there's a really big reason for that. We've had just a lot more folks jumping into the online space. I remember when I jumped in in 2015,. And sometimes my old posts will pop up. Back then it was on Facebook, and today they feel very cringy, although back then they worked really well. And so what happens when you have more competition, right? Evolution happens, right? We have to evolve. Those of us who still wanna stick around and have a healthy business, we're going to evolve to keep up and to stand out. Okay, now when we talk about messaging today, we're gonna get really deep into Instagram, but what I want you to know is that your messages— messaging needs to be consistent, whether it is your stories, your captions, carousels, an email, a sales page. The same things I teach you will apply across the board. And one of the most important ones is it's not about me or even us. It's about your dream client. It's about her or him. Right? So keep that in mind. Even though we're gonna tackle mostly Instagram today, the same rules really do apply across platforms, and there's a reason for that, right? There's going to be some nuances that differ whether you're on a sales page or an email. However, for the most part, buyer psychology, how we want to be spoken to, is going to feel the same. So if you make it all about you and Instagram, and you make it all about you in email, it's all about you. Now let's say you do a great job on Instagram after this training and you make it all about your dream client and they get into the world of your email, but now they're getting your emails and your emails are not consistent and it doesn't feel like you're actually speaking to your dream client and trying to help your dream client. They will notice the difference and it will not be as impactful. They say you have to have multiple touches to get in front of your dream person, right? Now I say the number is 12, and I believe that there's a bunch of different opportunities to check off that box. In fact, even an email that is not open still counts if they have not unsubscribed and they see your name in their inbox and they read just a blurb of the subject line. That can still count. Okay, so having multiple channels all part of your messaging, right, and consistent messaging throughout makes a massive difference overall for the one thing that we really want to achieve, which is conversion. Okay, so let's jump into education content. I've seen a lot of, uh, coaches and posts lately talking about education content being dead, and I actually completely disagree with that. The issue with education content is we went through this era on social media where all that was happening was education. That was it. And it was sort of a post and pray. It was like, let me just show everybody how smart I am and then maybe they'll come to me. And I saw a major lack of actual selling, right? So there was very few CTAs happening. Education to free product, but the upsell was not consistent, or it was just depending on an email to sell. And emails alone are not always effective, right? And so the way that education content was done was not done well. And so now you have this era of coaches saying education content is dead. It is not dead. It is, it just needs to be done well. And you need to employ all of the marketing and messaging skills that I'm going to teach you if you choose to post education content. Okay? Now storytelling is not a fix-all. Folks will say, as long as you're storytelling, I still believe that storytelling can actually hinder sales if you make it all about you. So you have to be incredibly smart and strategic about making the storytelling about the other person. And there is a way that you can do that, and I'm gonna tell you all about it. Okay? But I don't believe in black and white advice. Education content's dead. Storytelling is the only thing that converts. Not true. You'll see when I teach you the formula for conversion content that both of these actually can work. It's just how they're done, right? That's going to determine whether or not someone will take action. Growth and conversion content are not the same. Now, that's not to say that you couldn't have a growth post that performs very well, brings you a new audience, and you sell to that new audience. However, if you treat growth and conversion the same, you're going to be leaving cash on the table, period. That's what I believe is that the two of them have to consciously in your mind be different. Once again, if after you post the content, a reel takes off and it happens to be one that brings you money, amazing, great. But you should know what the purpose of that was when you first posted it. Were you trying to achieve growth or conversion? We're gonna dive into that, don't worry. Okay, repeat after me. You want to get paid for doing your favorite work, period. You want to get paid for it. Your favorite work is so important because I could post tomorrow that I could solve a problem that I don't really like to solve, but I probably could get some people to sign up. You know what's going to happen if I do that? I'll sign some people up, maybe, but they're probably not going to have life-transforming changes because it's not my favorite thing to do, and it's probably not the best thing I, best thing I can do. So I want to get paid for my favorite work, for my favorite clients, the perfect client that could come into my world, because I'm damn good at that and I'm gonna get her results. And at the end of the day, all of this comes down to one thing: we want to get paid to do our favorite work and give our clients the results that they paid for. That's it. That's the magic formula. You don't want your messaging to be so off that you actually do attract the wrong person that you can't really help, you are going to spin your wheels forever. You want testimonials because that is actually the easiest way to sell. You want to attract the person you can solve a problem for, not many problems for. Stick to the thing that you are best at. Okay, let's break down you content because this is going to be the foundation of what I teach you today. Why U language? U language is the closest language you will ever have. You will ever have besides calling out someone's name. The next best thing is if you were like Susan Smith in your post, which you can't really do because for obvious reasons we're not just talking to Susan Smith or we don't know Susan Smith is really your person, right? You language is the closest thing to calling out someone by their name. People perk up, they go, oh, you're talking to me. And the reverse is true. If you're not talking to them, they move on, which is great. We don't want you if I'm not talking to you. Okay, you can absolutely turn I storytelling into you language. So I'm going to have a couple examples of this in here because I think this is where a lot of folks get hung up. The front of this carousel says, the last 5 clients that hired me had 100,000 to 500,000+ followers. True story. Here's why they came to me and why it should matter to you. So this is an I, right? The last 5 clients that hired me, it's about me. And I didn't wanna beat around the bush on this one. I was like, why it should matter to you, I'm just gonna tell you. And then right here, do you have a decent following, decent views, decent engagement, and wonder why you're not making more money? So all of a sudden my ideal client is like, oh, I— yes, this is my problem. Okay, now what I see happen often is the COVID will say something similar to this: the last 5 clients that hired me had XYZ. Then the next page continues to talk about you. These clients chose me because this, this, this. The trick here is to switch it into the you very quickly. This success, the last 5 clients that hired me, this I accomplished, this that I'm sharing, the only reason my client, my dream client, is clicking on this is because they want to find out if it could help them too. So I'm making that gap really short. I don't want my client to overthink it where in their brain they're going, is it me? Is this my struggle? I just want to call them out. So even though the hook started with me, I immediately took it to you. Do you— same as all of them, these clients hired me for these reasons, but I'm not saying that. I didn't say these clients hired me because they had a decent following, decent views, decent engagement, and wonder why they weren't making more money. That is why they all hired me, by the way. I didn't say that. What I said was, do you have XYZ? Because I want this to be about them, not about me or my current clients even. Okay, let's talk about real stories versus hypothetical stories. So a real story is I language, and I have to weave it into the you. Now, a hypothetical story is still storytelling without the I. So let me give you an example of a hypothetical. Let's say you don't have a testimonial to use today. So instead you could say, imagine if you went from having a decent following, decent views, or a lot of times what we see is POV, right? And now you're actually starting to make the money that you should be. That's a hypothetical. You're showing the problem and you're saying, here is your desired outcome. Imagine if this was true. So storytelling is really powerful, whether it's actual factual storytelling or hypothetical. And you're not saying that it's a factual story. You're just planting the idea of the story. Okay. What do you really want to achieve? I need you guys to actually ask yourself this question. What do you want to really achieve? Is it fame follows engagement or money? I believe this question truly, truly needs some deep soul searching, because sometimes I will have clients that will come to me and I will say to them, hey, you've got a massive following. We might actually see that go back. I can't guarantee. We could even see your engagement slow down, but I'm gonna try to make more money. And they're like, absolutely, that's all I care about. And then a month in, we've doubled their income, and they're like, oh, it just sucks that my engagement's lower or my follows are lower. And it's like, we just doubled your income though. So I ask you to have a real moment with yourself here. Am I saying that by doing the things I teach you, you're going to have a smaller following and lower engagement? Absolutely not. I have tons of clients that do not see that. However, it cannot be your driving factor. If you want to make money, then money needs to be your driving factor. You want to make money, money needs to be a driving factor. Now, in my case, you'll hear me talk about this all the time. I care about money and time. I want my time. I want to be relaxed and rich. I don't want to be stressed and rich. And so with that, I am still driven in my content to make money because I don't have time to play games on my social media with people who aren't serious. That's my take on this. Give yourself a moment to think about what is it that you really want. And if you say, I want to convert more of my followers into dollars, I want to make more money in my bank account, stay with me, you're gonna love this. You language will not always call the masses. I need you guys to understand that. However, that doesn't mean I'm gonna show you a great example from a client where we did call in the masses and that she just has a bigger audience. So you're gonna see big numbers. What's interesting though is it was still a lower percentage than she usually does. So you language is not always, and conversion content is not always going to go viral. That's why I asked you if you want to make money, is that your first driver? And ask yourself, why do you want, need the masses? Even if you are selling low ticket volume, we still really wanna focus on conversion. And I have clients that sell low ticket that are making multiple high 5 figures a month off of low ticket. It by focusing on conversion content. They mix in tons of growth, but they are actually hitting the conversion very specifically. Okay, so we're gonna talk about conversion content in stories. So everything I teach you today, you guys, I want you to think feed and stories, feed and stories. It doesn't actually look super different. I am a believer that the people in your stories are just closer to purchasing. They have their credit card out, okay? Where the people in your feed, some of them are close to purchasing, some of them are newer, Some of them are just kind of lurkers. So we have a wider range, but the people in your stories are definitely closer to jumping in with you. Okay, so here I talked about what I did. This is me, me, me, me, me. This is all about me. I don't want you to think you can't post that. I said, eek, launched something big today. I'm so excited. Inside the Rich and Relaxed, we now have this. Now I understand this is not about my person, so I immediately added a line. I realized what y'all want is me in your business answering your questions and coaching you. That's what my clients want. So I added that so that I could end on a note of it being about them. And then immediately the next slide right after in my stories goes to the you language. You want a coach that actually live coaches. You're over joining a mastermind where you, all you do is listen to somebody speak at you. This is why I give you a full access pass to all my courses. Like my original ex-clients get access to all of this right here and live trainings as well as 3 Zoom calls per month where I coach you. And I know my dream clients— not everybody— my dream clients like to be coached by me. They want me in their business. They want me giving feedback. They want me answering questions. They're not signing up for a TED Talk. They love to consume this kind of stuff in their PJs on the couch, but they want me to actually coach them. So when I'm speaking here in my story, I'm talking to the other folks out there that are watching me that want the same. You want this, you want this, you want this. So what I see a lot of folks do a lot of is the first slide. It's like, did something so exciting, I would love to have you in here. And it can work. It's not bad copywriting. It's just not the punch that you need to get someone to pull out their credit card. The second one absolutely is. Someone goes, Someone reads that and they go, yes I do, yes I do, yes I do. And if there's someone that reads it and goes, I don't really want that, well, that's fine. That's not my dream client then. Like, better that they move on, right? My dream client is looking at this and they're like, heck yes to all of this. Give it to me. Okay, more about stories. You can see here I'm talking fulfillment. Fulfillment is not activating. It doesn't mean you can't say it. I want you guys to know that here. Private one-on-one deep dive. By the way, a lot of my clients love this, and this is a huge selling feature. They want that one-on-one deep dive. 30 days of private Voxer, uh, which depending on when you're watching this recording may or not, may not be still included. I am not sure when you're watching this, and this is a bonus that we did. So however, at the time, this was a really big deal for my potential clients. 12 months packed with that, that, that. This is all fulfillment, but it was juicy fulfillment. However, if I had just landed on that story slide, it would not be enough. I would have to work 10 times harder to get anybody interested. Now, this middle bucket here is the one that adds that pizzazz, and it gets them to all of a sudden the last story. This makes it more powerful. You're a female coach or course creator, you lack strategy, and you're churning and burning through leads and followers that aren't paying you money consistently for your amazing expertise. You know, it's your messaging and your offers, but you have no idea where the heck to start to make the shift. And my dream client is like, me, me, me. Where do I sign? And then I say, comment below, rich. That's where you sign. Okay. Sharing, uh, with permission from one of my clients, a carousel. So as you can see, she has a large following. Um, and this is a reel where she did actually want a lot of eyes and conversion, right?, right? But we did not care that out of her following, it was not actually— this specific post was not gonna push very far out because our purpose was to actually convert people into a free trial that would turn paid. Okay? And a free trial that turns paid still, still requires a credit card. And so it's still a transaction that has to happen. And so she decides to kick it off with, you're doing everything Instagram experts tell you. She immediately jumps into that, right? And I'm gonna show you the rest of the carousel 'cause I wanna show you guys how you can do this in a carousel. You're spending hours creating content that gets low views, no engagement, zero sales. You're starting to think maybe Instagram isn't for me. And her ideal client is like, that's me. Low views, no engagement, zero sales. Maybe Instagram's not for me. You're tired of posting consistently but not growing, watching others make sales. She like really Takes it up a notch with emojis too. While you struggle, feeling like you're missing the real Instagram strategy that works. Now imagine this. Imagine having a clear plan for converting followers into buyers. Daily, you just made a sale notifications. Your target audience drooling over your offers. She's very good with imagery, right? That's exactly what my community, Monetize the Gram, is here to do for you. All right, we got to unpack a few things here. Now, she started with you language that is problem aware. She's like, here's your problem. Let me dissect it and bring out a lot of emotion around your problem. The reason you do this is not because you want to make your person feel like crap. You do this because that's the language they speak every day. They wake up in the morning and they're like, well, this sucks. I feel this, this, this. And so when you actually say you're feeling this, this, this, your dream client is going, yes, you understand me. It's like when you go to the doctor and you're like, I don't know what's going on, but my stomach is always bloated. And the doctor's like, wait, let me guess. So it sounds to me like this could be happening. And you're like, yes, that's exactly what it is. Or maybe they had to ask questions first to really understand it, but then they say it back to you. They go, okay, so you're telling me that when you wake up in the morning, you're fine, and then the minute you eat breakfast, your stomach is bloated and painful. Is that what's happening? And you're like, yes, yes, exactly. That's exactly what's happening. So now, because it was real, your own problem was relayed back to you. This is the beauty of what happens. You now have trust in this person. You're like, oh my gosh, you get me. I trust you. So by starting with the problem, you are creating an incredible amount of trust. Next, that initial trust is great, but I also want to know that you see possibility for me? Is there hope for me? Imagine having a clear plan for converting followers into buyers. That, that, that, that. You're like, yes, this is what I want. Okay, so you're waking up every day, then the minute you eat, your stomach is bloated. I feel very confident that I know what's going on, and I'm pretty sure we can fix this so that when you start eating foods, your body can digest the foods and you're not going to be bloated. And you're Really? You feel like there's a way for me to get there where I'm not feeling this way? And you're just like, oh, okay, you understand my problem, you understand where I want to be. And you know what your client does right now? This is like magic, you guys. This is what happens. Give me whatever it is that's gonna get me there. My problem, my desired outcome, whatever this is. Sign me up. I don't really care what it is, just sign me up. The price doesn't matter, the actual fulfillment doesn't matter. I don't care if it's one Zoom call or 20 Zoom calls, just like give it to me because the trust is so secure. Now, education content— here's the difference. Education content is gonna go, here's your problem, here's your solution, so you can achieve this. Now it's going to tell you, do these 5 things to achieve this. The difference with conversion content is I'm not going to tell you what to do. My program, or me as the coach, is the solution. You want to go from this to this, then you gotta jump into this. You gotta get in my DMs, or you gotta comment join, or you gotta click the link, or you gotta send me this, you gotta fill out a form, or whatever it is that you want them to do. That's how you get into the solution. And if you can build the trust enough ahead of time, they jump in. That's conversion content. All right. Another example from my client Melissa. She started to— when we met, she had around 14,000, just around there. The following count has not changed from— I'm going to show you something really cool. But like when I took this screenshot, she was right on there. We had been working together for a couple of months, probably 2 or 3 months at this point. Um, and once again, 5 Signs Your Body's Storing Fat. Melissa grew her entire account in less than a year off of education content, but she wasn't seeing the conversion that she wanted. So, 5 Signs Your Body Is Storing Fat. In the past, with education growth content, she would tell you all the signs. Okay, so she does still tell you, it's still educational. However, do you see the you language here? You're doing this, you're doing this, you're doing this. So you can still use the you language in educational content. It's just going to make it more powerful. Now, here's what I want to show you that she did, though. She gives you the 5 things, okay? But she doesn't reveal the details. Eat enough calories, but she doesn't tell you how much. Eat fiber and complex carbs. Stop all the diet fads. Learn how to incorporate your favorite foods. So learn how— she's not telling you how, she's saying you need to learn how. Give your body proper nutrition. She's definitely still educating, but it's very light education. And then she says, you need to learn that nutrition drives fat loss, and you're going to do that inside my program. So this is a type of post that's still pretty heavy on education, but she's turned it into conversion. And for the record, she's been converting very well this way. I'm going to come back to Melissa in a second. Okay, I feel like if I show you guys so many instances of this, it's— you're gonna see the formula before I even break it down right now. Okay, step number 1. I'm a big formula, tell me what to do. Step number 1, we want to help your person become problem aware and/or desired outcome. Now, as you notice, I said and/or, so I want to Okay, do you see how this is the problem and then she tells you the desired outcome? You can actually start with the desired outcome. I don't want you to feel like you always have to start with the problem. You can actually kick off your post with the desired outcome. You don't even have to talk about the problem every single time. You can pick one. Obviously the combo is very powerful. Okay, whoops, I forgot that I hyperlinked it. Okay, so obviously, uh, starting with the problem and then the desired outcome is very powerful. Okay, that was step number 1. Okay, so if you notice on my reel over here, problem aware: your dream client isn't in your DMs because you're not attractive. That's also a pretty polarizing hook. Um, you'll see if you read the text, I'm not talking about attractive the way you might think that I am initially. So problem aware or desired outcome. I am talking about a problem. Your dream client isn't in your DMs because you're not attractive. They're like, oh, my client isn't in my DMs, but that's the reason? So the problem is your dream client isn't in your DMs. That's the problem. Step number 2, weave it into you language if you didn't start there. So I did start there, okay? I did. You don't have to. I showed you guys an example earlier where I started with I. Now I go, I continue with the you. You want her to message you, you want her to ask for help, you want her to choose you. What is that? That is desired outcome. I didn't have to start there. I could have started the problem. Your DMs are crickets, you're not attracting dream clients, you know, that kind of thing. But I decided to go with desired outcome for this one. That, that, that, that, that. I'm explaining exactly what I mean. Next, propose the solution. What is my solution to get her into your DMs? She must be attracted to you, but that's not really a solution. Like, how do I do that, right? And where I drop it is there's a formula for success when it comes to attracting— attracting marketing— track— supposed to say attractive marketing. Okay, what's the formula? When I get into my client's business and start giving specific advice on the details of their business, when the aha moments happen and the results happen every single time. If you're here, you're ready. So what is the specific advice on how to become attracted to your dream client? You gotta get in my world to know. That's the solution. I don't actually tell you how to fix your problem in my post. Okay, step number 4, last one, is the CTA, which I feel like we probably know that, but I am going to dive into them a little bit more. Okay, step number 1, problem aware or desired outcome. Right away, here's the problem. Step 2, weave into you language. Step 3, propose the solution. Step 4, call to action. Okay, what's the formula in stories? It didn't change. Didn't— I didn't change a single thing in there. Now, I don't want you to think this means your content has to get super boring, you guys. It could still be fun content. So this is what I did for like the start of February, my favorite month of the year for the goal crushers, when all the folks who weren't really serious stopped showing up. I'm super focused this month on loving what I get to do. Now here we go, problem aware. And if you're not wildly in love with your coaching business, here's how to fix that. And you language: your business needs to stop feeling unpredictable. Problem: would you date an unpredictable man? So now I've kind of sassed it up a little bit. I've made it more fun than just Problem aware, you language. I've made it more applicable. I made it fun. I made it about Valentine's. You language, problem aware. Your business needs to stop feeling forced. Oh, my business feels forced. You're right, Zee. Then I went into problem— I'm sorry, desired outcome, you language. Your business should feel light and airy and energetic, and it should also feel rich. You should be making all the money you want in the most relaxed way. So you You, problem lawyer, desired outcome. And then what comes in at the end? Call to action. Call to action. Exact same formula. But I really want you to pay attention how I still like jazzed it up so it doesn't feel to my audience that I'm just saying the same thing over and over and over again. Okay, I want to go back to talking about growth because this is so important. Growth and conversion. So Melissa starts working with me and we focused only on conversion content. Excuse me, for about 4 months. And it worked. She started— she actually was able to fill up her one-on-ones. She filled up her very first group program, which she had never done before, and kicked off a third mini program and filled that one up. And without growing a single bit from the day she hired me. So she hires me, she fills up her programs through conversion, does not grow. She came to me after all this and said, hey, I think I'm gonna do some growth content now. And I was like, hey, Great idea. Your programs are full. Like, why not? And these screenshots are from literally 2 weeks between the 2 of them. 2 weeks. Now, am I saying that you're gonna grow by 3,000 followers in 2 weeks? No. What I'm saying is that if you understand growth content, you can always go back to it. So I don't want you to panic if you feel like Zee Slingsby, the conversion, the conversion isn't giving me the growth and I really want it. You can always go back to it. Those of you who are watching this and saying, well, can you teach the growth? I'm not going to teach the growth because here's what I want you to know: you can make money from your current followers. Melissa was able to fill up her programs, and you might be thinking, well, 14,000 is a lot of followers. It does not matter. She was not making the money off her 14,000 followers previously. Zee Slingsby, it's not about the follower count. You have followers right now that would spend money with you if you were speaking to them. That's all we changed. The extra 3,000 is 'cause she decided to post growth content, but it actually did not impact any type of income for her. Not to say it will not in the future, but I want you to know she hit her numbers all from her original following without posting growth content. All right, we need to talk about call to action. So if your goal is to convert, which is what we're here for, then yes, you absolutely need to put a call to action on every single post that's a conversion post. Okay, now call to actions need to be in line with your goals. So I get into this in a different course called Fully Booked, which if you have not gotten your hands on, you guys, this is one of those courses where the minute I released it, the number of testimonials was like out. I couldn't even believe how many people immediately were like, I got results, I got results, because I do break down a lot of this stuff. So that's why I'm mentioning it. But whether you want to push to a clarity call or an application or moving the convo to the DMs or a link to buy, all of this is serious psychology and buyer behavior. So what I'm going to tell you though is you should be using multiple CTAs. Do not always use the same CTA because people buy in different ways. And so to expect that every single person that you want in your world— and Remember, we're here as high-ticket coaches. We don't need 5,000 people say yes. We want our few perfect high-ticket clients that love us and want to work with us to say yes. If you constantly push for a clarity call and she's not ready for a clarity call, she's never going to respond to you. So that's why I also sometimes like to say just get in my DMs. So play around with multiple CTAs and stories and in your feed, but absolutely use a CTA every single time, hands down. Okay, another client of mine I'm going to share. This is Bree, and she is a fitness and nutrition coach. And I'm just going to show you guys how she does CTAs in her stories. Um, she'll say, opening for clarity calls this week, and she will literally say, uh, let's see, oops, these are out of order. This is the one that came up first. She said, uh, originally said she has 2 spots, and then Thursday, then she knocks them out and says, I have 1 spot. Last spot, and then she lets everybody know they're fully gone. But what's really cool is see how she put Tuesday 2 spots, Thursday 1 spot. So she's telling her audience, I have this many available. That is very important and helps create urgency for someone to snag a spot. Okay. Okay. I want to leave you with a formula. We've mentioned it so many times on the call, but I feel like if I don't have a slide dedicated to this, you're gonna leave and you're not gonna be to redo this. So I want it to really stick for you. Number 1, you language. Did you notice that I put problem where and/or desired outcome as the second one? Here's why. And I did this on purpose on this one. The formula is not about the hook. We're gonna talk about the hook on a different slide. Your post needs to switch to the you very, very quickly. Now, the you language is driven by the problem or the desired outcome. Okay, let me repeat that. The you language is driven by the problem or the desired outcome, meaning it could be you problem, you are struggling with this, you are struggling with this, or you language desired outcome, you want this, you want this. You can also cover both in your post. Then the last piece is a CTA, which is you or your program. And I combined it because I want the formula to be simple. So this is the solution to your, your program. That is that third and fourth step that I broke out. I put them together because I want it to be so simple for you guys. CTA is you or your program. So here's your issue. I'm the solution. Comment this to get it. That simple. This will activate your person. Okay. I shared this on another training call and I got this message. Actually, I think this was a Fully Booked where I caught a very similar— this one piece of like the you language and the problem where and she literally said, drum roll, drum roll, I booked a clarity call after not having conversations on IG for a long while. And other humans in my world right now are in my DMs asking questions about booking a call because of this same exact formula in stories. It works. Okay, let's actually create some content together. This is our cat. I thought this picture was just gold and I just had to share it. So The very first thing I do when I create content, and I do this every single time, I just take a moment and I breathe and I think to myself, what is it that my dream client is thinking right this minute? Like, what is actually going through their head? And it takes a second, right? And I think, okay, it's the beginning of the month. They are probably either— they hit their January goal and they're not sure if they can maintain, or they didn't hit it and they're questioning what the rest of this year is going to look like. So they're feeling either— either way, they're feeling some nervous energy about a new month because— why are they feeling nervous energy? So I'm just really trying to get into their headspace. They're feeling nervous energy because they don't have anything established. They don't have recurring revenue established. And so how can they feel relaxed when they feel like everything is out of their control, no matter what they post they're not getting people in their DMs. They had 2 clarity calls and the person didn't move forward. Neither one of them moved forward. So they're feeling a lot of anxiety about their business. That's my dream client. Um, they've signed some people up, but it's just not enough to make the impact that they want. Okay, so what's her biggest problem that I could solve for her? I can help her with their messaging for sure, and also creating better offers because I'm really good at Creating money on repeat recurring revenue. I know that would change her life if she could walk into the month and she already has established revenue. What's her desired outcome? She wants to make more money, but my dream client doesn't just want more money. She wants more time and she wants it to feel less heavy. Okay, so how do I make this you language for her? So I would say, let's talk about her problem. You're sick and tired of walking into each month not knowing what's gonna happen to your business. You're sick of posting, not knowing if it's going to land with your dream client. You're sick of feeling like you're pouring every minute into your business, but you're not getting the payback that you were hoping for. You want to feel like your business is predictable. You want to feel like you can control the outcome. You want to feel like when you post, you're speaking to your dream client and she actually pays attention. You want to walk into the month with guaranteed revenue so you're not stressed, and then you have the opportunity to double it. Pitching the solution. That's my CTA. It's me. This is what I teach you inside my Rich and Relaxed Mastermind. Comment below, ready, and I'll send you all the details. Okay, let's talk hooks. Hooks don't need to convert. You don't need to convert someone from your hook. We just want them to open up your post. We just want them to click. We just want them to read. I don't need you to see my hook and be like, take my money. I mean, hey, amazing. But I— that's not actually my goal. My goal with a hook is just to get you to click and read. Okay, so just one step at a time. I just want to grab your attention, build curiosity. I language works. So here, I— this is about me. It's not you. I'm going to break $68K again this month. However, what I did very quickly was switch it to the you. If you want to start hitting these bigger amounts on repeat, this is for you. You're not going to get there by that, that, that, that, that. Okay, immediately took the I and made it about you. Now, I could have focused here on, I didn't get there by launching new offers, I didn't get there by this, this, but I didn't do that. I made it about them. My client needs it to be about her. She's going to be inspired to learn about what I did, but inspiration does not equal activation. Remember that. So it's fine to inspire over here, but I better make it about her when we get into the Tales. Okay, now could I have done a U language hook on the COVID Absolutely. I showed you guys some examples of that, so it doesn't need to start with I. Okay, but the I needs to go to the U. Same with testimonials. If I'm gonna share a client testimonial, these are tricky 'cause a lot of folks will say, well, a testimonial isn't about me, it's about my client. True, but it's still not about her, the person you're trying to attract today. So you still need to take a testimonial and make it about them. Okay, same thing. You could put the testimonial on the COVID and then jump right into the you language. All right, you guys, here's what is next. I hope you are so excited to go out and create content. Messaging is a muscle. It is not going to feel like you're creating perfect content ever because it also evolves. But I want you to practice this and really put yourself in the mind of your dream client and speak to her with that you language because it's the closest thing you're going to get to her name. Now, if you want my eyes on your messaging, you want my eyes on and in your business, Rich and Relaxed Mastermind is the place. This is the coaching container where my clients are getting immediate direct support into their business, and on top of that, access to all of these courses and videos. All right, because when you're in Rich and Relaxed, you get access during your time in there to all of these additional courses that I create, plus that live coaching component that is seriously priceless where I'm getting into your business. All right, I hope to see you in there.
