Leads Lab Content Challenge Kick Off Call

Zee Slingsby launches a content challenge for coaches: pick All-In (3 posts daily) or Steady (2 posts daily) and batch-create content around your ideal client's pain points. Instagram's algorithm now rewards consistency over viral tactics, so the goal is 30-45 days of regular posts with clear CTAs and automated lead capture through ManyChat or Kajabi.

Hello, hello! Hi everyone, make sure my phone's on do not disturb. Happy Last Monday of the entire year. How insane is that? It's just crazy. Well, not last Monday. Last Monday I see you guys. Our last call of the whole year. We do have one more Monday. So Lisa, Natalie, welcome ladies. I think we've got a few new faces hopping on today. Hi, Carrie. Jill, you must be like perfectly ready for Christmas, right? Driving. No worries, guys, if you're driving. Alright, I'm just gonna wait a couple of minutes. I know it's a weird Monday, and we are recording for folks who can't hop on today, because life is lifing, I'm sure. But we'll just wait a couple of minutes, and then we're gonna get started. The purpose of this is just to kick us off, and you guys can watch the recording if you want to. I know some of us It was kind of challenging to find our way around here.
So you need to wear more red.
You are so cute.
You should have your colors. I have a client who does colors.
Colors. I've seen that. I know. I think it's so neat.
She's a queen.
I'm just worried they're gonna tell me to wear less black.
No, mine actually has all these different shades of black that I should wear. It's literally like built in there. Yeah, yeah. But it's so funny if you're ever interested as you, as you keep growing. I would be—
I have seen it and it's so cool. Yeah, I've seen them like, and it's really crazy, like what a difference it makes. It is. Whoa.
It really is. And she does this, she does the one that I think is like 12 or 16 seasons. So there's like little—
I was going to say, because I'm a totally different person in the summer versus the winter. In the summer, I am like insanely tan, just naturally. I will tan like in 5 minutes. And then the minute it is like fall or winter, goes away. It goes away. Yeah, it's so weird. I would need 2 of them done. All right, everybody's coming in. Yay! Yay! Yay! Hi, ladies. Okay, we're going to get started. We are recording. Yes. For those of you who are new to Rich and Relax Foundations, this is not a standard call. So I want you guys to know that standard call is a lot of me coaching you directly. Inside your business, asking questions. This is a bonus call that we added. We were not supposed to have a call today, but I wanted to run this challenge in January and I knew I needed to launch it today because there's a lot of prep work involved. I mean, not a whole lot where you're like going to spend your whole break prepping, but like there is prep work. Okay. So I want that. I want that to be disclaimer. It's very rare you'll hop on one of my calls and I do all the talking. Okay, we will do questions at the end, but this is not a coaching session where I'm going to get in your business, and I don't think we've ever done that before. So if this is your first time, just know that this is a bonus call, totally different format. What made me decide to do this? Raise your hand or comment or something if you've noticed that, like, Instagram is just totally different even in the last 60 to 90 days. It's a different vibe. I don't want to say bad, it's just different, right? It's like constantly changing. And I definitely felt it and I started to pay attention to what— hold on, I'm going to turn that little ringer thing off. There we go. I started to pay attention to what folks were doing in other industries that were growing in our industries and just really paying attention. And I realized that, yes, you're always going to see coaches that say things like, I posted less and I made more. Great. Amazing. Good for you. But I think that's outlier strategy. And you might have seen me talk about this on my feed, is outlier strategy works for outliers. And if you're an outlier, don't change your method. Cool. Keep doing it. Like, honestly, if it's working for you, get off this call and go keep doing what you're doing. But also, outlier strategy doesn't work for the majority. Majority strategy is like, okay, if it's not working this way, what will work? Right. And a lot of you guys, not all of you, a lot of you are in the wellness space. But even if you think of real estate or business, it's the same exact thing, right? Just because it works for one person doesn't mean it's going to work for everyone. But we want to look at what is working for most folks. And so I started really digging in and truthfully, right now it's putting more content out. Now, a couple of things, disclaimers around that. And Brock Johnson, who I love, talks a lot about this. It— people always ask him, is it quantity or quality? Don't ask that. You're asking the wrong question. You don't need to put a bunch of crap out. That's not going to help you in any way. So it needs to be quality. That is something you can maintain. I am going to push you in the next 30 days. This is a challenge. It's going to push you. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. Don't do it. This is not going to kick you out of Rich and Relax if you don't participate. This is optional. This is a bonus. It's me. And Jill and Bri putting a lot of extra time to help you guys with something that we feel really excited about and passionate. But you don't have to. And I will not look down on anyone who's like, this is not going to serve me right now. Okay? What I don't want you to do is come back and be like, I'm so overwhelmed. It's a challenge. It's going to be hard. So just know that we're going to support you as much as possible. But I'm going to roll out what it is. The purpose is to get more of the right eyes on your page. I've been doing this for me, for my own business. Here's what I'll tell you guys. What's so crazy? My individual view, and you guys are like, what has she been doing? I'll tell you. But the individual views, the individual, individual per item I'm putting out is less. Like I'm getting less views, less comments. My overall feed is much higher and I'm literally having people tell me I can't stop seeing you everywhere. I just had someone sign up. She emailed me and she literally said, I'm seeing you everywhere. It's time. It was someone that I talked to in the past. So I know it's working. I've got a couple clients that follow a very similar method. And the last thing, how many of you guys saw my story about Brock yesterday? I said, go read this post before. Did you guys see it? Did you see how at the end he said it was about— does anyone remember? Let me pull it up because I don't want to butcher it. About fish fishing. If you remember it word for word, say it. If not, I'm going to pull it up. Okay, I'm gonna pull it out because I don't know. It's about how many— and I don't know word for word, but he said it's about, um, let me read it. Let me read it word for word then. Let me read it word for word. Yeah, sorry, interrupt you. I want to read it word for word because I know the theme, but I don't want to butcher it because it's so dang good. Here's what it is, you guys. I want to read it word for word. You can't control how many fish you catch, you can only control how often you fish. Okay, you can't control how many fish you catch, you You can only control how often you fish. This— I saw this and I was like, oh my God, perfect timing for this challenge. We can— what can we control? We can't control the algorithm, can't control the algorithm. We cannot control— kind of like I can't control the weather, right? Like, I can't— there's a whole bucket of things I can't control. But what can I control? I can control how often I fish. So when it comes to our content, That's what we're going to focus on in this challenge. We're going to just going to go fishing more. We're going to go fishing more. And what happens when you go fishing more? Will you probably catch more fish? Yes. Now, quality versus quantity. If you go fishing with a broken fishing pole and you have— you don't have the right bait at the end, I don't fish clearly, but like, right, it's not going to work. So you do have to have quality. But also it's like at-bats. That's all it is. We're going to increase our at-bats. Okay, so let's talk about this challenge. I'm going to— everything I show you guys today, you're going to get a copy of. My husband's— that's right, Summer. I knew that. Okay. Does your— would your husband approve of this message? Oh yeah, we talk about it all the time. 100%. We heard it from the fisherman, you guys. He approves. Okay, I'm gonna sign in on Kajabi real quick. I wanna take you guys to the community page for a second and kind of just show you around real quick, just in case some of you are like, where— what am I doing back here? All of this is on the app. If you're not in the app, God bless Jill. She will walk you through it because she's just email admin at Zee Slingsby, and she's so on top of it. But this is all available on the app. Okay. This is the challenge right here. You have to click on challenges and you have to actually join. Okay. It doesn't start till January 5th, but you do have to join the challenge, right? There should be like a join button. And this will be inside of here is where I drop all these files I'm going to show you guys today. So the recording will be in here, the files I show you, everything will be here. If you guys have questions, I do want to mention when you go to this page, if you guys could start just creating a new post and tagging me or Bree or Joe, whoever you need. I think the original, just like this one right here, that's perfect, Regina. So, and I will get to that today. But yeah, if you guys could do a new one, that'd be amazing. That way it keeps it clean. But yeah, just make sure you guys are in the challenge page and that's where everything will be dropped. Okay. Okay. So I'm going to actually just jump in. Okay. The number 1 thing we're gonna do today, first thing we're gonna do is we are going to go to our calendars and starting the first week of January 5th, I want you to block off a content block. Okay? I'm choosing to do 2 hours. Let's do it together. We're doing it right now. We're taking action today. We're just doing it. And there's some prep work prior, but each week you probably don't need more than that. To block off. Mine is going to be on January 8th. I'm doing every Thursday. That's my day. So block off your content time. And I— this is the hard part. We have to honor it. It's hard. You get a client and they're like, I wanna sign up. Can you do my deep dive that day? That day. Don't sacrifice your content time for one quick win, right? You can move that client to another time because your content is what brings in long-term clients, right? So honor the time that you put on there. If you keep moving it, then you're not honoring it. And what happens is that becomes the least important thing on, on your list. And I will tell you guys, for all of us, that's our business, right? This is how we show the world that we're open. So honor the time. All right, I want you to set that time If you can do a recurring, do a recurring. If you can't do a recurring, then I want you to set the calendar for the week of January 5th, January 12th, January 19th, January 22nd, and the week of February 2nd. That'll be our final week. Okay? And you can keep it forever, but I want you to either set it as recurring or I want you to, if you can't make it recurring, pick a different time. Okay. Next, let me show you guys what the method is. There are 2 tracks that you can choose. Okay. There is the all-in track and there's the steady track. I will not judge any of you for not choosing the all-in. I will not judge any of you for choosing the all-in. You just choose whatever you want. You can choose not to do the challenge. All-in is you are going to be posting 3 times a day. Steady is 2 times a day. Okay, this is not like 75 hard. You miss a day and you're like kicked out. Okay, that's, that's not what we're doing here. But I do want you to give this your attention. I want you like truly, yep, this is on your feed. Yeah, this is feed. Okay. So all in or study. Here's what I'm going to tell you guys. This is really crazy, but, uh, content got easier when I decided to start posting more. I did. I've been doing between 3 and 2 a day. Um, I did 3 for 3 a day for like probably 3 weeks and then just recently slipped to 2. Not slipped, I kind of went down to 2 because honestly I haven't— my content block, like I blocked off time in January. Right now I'm just trying to fit it in. It's going to be so much better when I actually have it on the calendar, which I do for January. But I will tell you, you know what's really weird? It actually actually got easier for a couple reasons. Think about it this way, and we'll see if Summer's husband agrees, but, uh, the more you actually go fishing, guess what happens? You get better at fishing, right? You actually get better. What else happens? You probably enjoy it more because you're really good at it, right? Uh, the other thing with content that I noticed is I actually started getting more ideas, not less. And the final piece that was so cool was when I only posted once a day, which was more like 5 times a week because once a day always turned into like this day falling here and there. I— when I started posting more, it was actually easier because I was like, oh, I don't care about do I do a freebie today or do I do this? I was like, I'll just do my freebie every day and I'll just do this every day. And I just have more opportunity to do the things I want to talk about versus one shot at bat to get it right is how I felt like before. Like I have one shot to nail this., right? And it felt like a lot of pressure. This actually relieved the pressure. The trick though is you have to have it, you have to plan for it, right? It's kind of like saying you wanna work out but never actually putting it on your calendar. You're probably not gonna do your workout, right? Because life will always give you something else. So, um, all in our study, and I'm gonna show you guys what it actually means. Like, let's talk about how do you actually produce this kind of content? I'm gonna use the All In method as the example, but the Steady one looks very, very similar. It's just twice a day. Okay? So I'm gonna show you guys and we're gonna do some of this prep together right now. Okay? So, actually before I show you this, let's do the prep. Okay? This, you're gonna get a copy of this. This is our prep. Okay? So these are the things that you probably wanna try to get some of them off of your list before we start in January. Number 1 is grounding avatar video. We're actually gonna do this live in just a couple of minutes. Okay? So I'm gonna show you guys how to ground into your avatar. And number 2, we're gonna do this on the call. We're gonna talk about our freebies.
Okay?
We're going to, in the, in this time right now, you're gonna create some Canva brand files. Or if you don't wanna do this, I'm gonna show you a method that Bri uses that's so much easier and it works beautifully. So I'll pull up some of her stuff. And that actually takes out step 3 altogether. If you use her method, we're gonna start saving Instagram content as inspiration, and you might already be doing that, but you might not be doing it well. So I can show you a couple other ways to do that. And then you are going to find some time in the next 2 weeks to just film some B-roll, which we'll talk about. Okay? And then you're gonna organize it. So let's jump in because it's not as hard as it seems. It just seems like a big list. Grounding avatar. What does this mean? What is the biggest issue with content? It's I don't know what to post. I don't know what to talk about, right? So I've been using this method for a long time. I actually love it. I'm gonna show you the longer way and the shorter way. So the shorter way is this. I want everybody to close their eyes. Close your eyes. And I want you to picture— first of all, know what time it is. What time is it in your time zone? For me, it's 10 AM PST. 10:15, whatever time it is for you, 11, 12, 1, um, I want you to think of your dream client right this minute. Right this minute, what is she doing that you're just like, oh my God, I wish I could help her right now? My dream client at 10 AM is on a challenge call for content. What is your dream client doing right this minute? Is she Thinking, gosh, I am so overwhelmed buying Christmas presents for everybody else, and I really wanna get some steps in because the sun is actually out today. But gosh, there's no time for me because I do everything. Is she feeling like, oh my gosh, I really hope next year I can sell some more homes because this year has been so slow. Is she thinking, oh my God, my kids are home for the next 2 weeks, and I'm supposed to be happy, but I am just like overwhelmed and It's already chaotic and we haven't even started the holidays yet. Is she thinking, gosh, another Christmas and I'm not pregnant, Tori, right? Maybe your client is thinking that. What is she thinking? What's your dream client at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00, whatever it is in your time zone, what is going on through her mind? Okay, open up your eyes. That right there is inspiration for in-the-moment content. If I'm ever feeling uninspired, this is literally what I do. But how can we take this method and actually create multiple pieces of content? Okay, so the grounding avatar method, the full method, is actually to grab a piece of blank paper. And I want you guys, if you can do it right now, if not, come back and do this in the next 2 weeks, is to get a blank piece of paper and brain dump, brain dump from the minute she opens her eyes. And this is so important because what do we open our eyes thinking about, right? We either open our eyes because We're opening our eyes because alarm went off and you're like, oh, another day. You open your eyes naturally and you're like, oh, another day. Do you open your eyes because a 2-year-old jumped on top of your head? Do you open your eyes because you don't feel good and you slept funny and your neck is kinked? Like, how are you opening your eyes? What is the first thought that she is thinking? Write that down. Then when she gets up and she steps out of the room, or maybe she's in the room and she gets on the scale, Or maybe her child has a busy day because she's competing in gymnastics. What is happening around her in those first 2 hours of the day is so important. Does she go straight for the coffee pot? Is she checking her bank account? She's frustrated. Like, what is happening in her day? Okay. And then you line yourself up with her whole day like this, and you're just brain dumping every little frustration that she has. And we're gonna start with the frustrations. I'll teach you how we're gonna turn that into the positive, but you're gonna brain dump. And if you're doing right now, just like brain dump every little frustration that she is going through. And the more detailed you can get right here, the more powerful. Let me give you an example. On one end, she's like, oh yeah, I go get my coffee. On the other, she's like, oh, I'm so annoyed because I didn't prep the coffee machine last night and I should have, and now I have to do it this morning and my kid is screaming at me and I really wanted to get a workout, but I have to go back upstairs and I'm just so cold and I don't feel like it and I have no energy and I didn't sleep well. Like, do you see how you can take this, right? And just like drag it out. Or maybe she has a child that woke up that has a speech delay and they're crying already and it's like only 7:00 AM. You're like, it's only 7:00 AM and it's already started. This is what my day's gonna look like, right? So like really dig into how she's feeling. In those moments? Who's around her? Is she— is her email going off? Like, every— the more detailed you can get, the better. Okay, now I'm gonna share screen again, um, and you guys will get all these worksheets. Um, there's a couple of these I would print out for like every week if I were you, right? So I'll show you what I mean. This is the All In Method. There's another one for— whoops, I don't want to print. For the study method. But, um, so when you start, this is like every time you're doing your content prep, I want you guys to start with scripting. Okay, take a couple minutes and ground into your dream avatar client again each week. Here's why this is so important. Every week, we— our brain is given new insight into our dream client, because what happens during your week? You're talking to people, you're coaching your current clients, and so you get more and more aware of what's going on in their life.. And so if you only do this today and then you try to create content for the month, you start losing touch with it a bit, right? So every time you're doing content, just take like 5 minutes and do this activity again. It can be very, very powerful. Now we're gonna do this part together. So we just brain dumped all the things that she's thinking. I want you to find 5 of these like pillars. These are not content pillars. These are just 3 to 5 things that she is like actively throughout her day. Needs and problems that she has that you are the best at solving. You're like, I know I am the person for her because of these 5 areas, 3 to 5, and write those down. These are problem aware. So I'll give you guys a couple of examples. Let's actually just like take one of you. Does anyone want to volunteer? Tori, I saw your hand first. So Tori, what are some of the— let's pull this back up. Okay, and then I gotta find you on here. There you are. Okay, Tori, walk me through some of the things during the day that she's thinking and feeling.
Um, I— and hopefully tell me if y'all can—
my kids are watching TV in the living room next to me, so we're totally fine.
We can't hear them at all. Um, so as soon as she wakes up, she's already thinking she wants to pee on something. So a LH strip, a pregnancy test, like from the moment she wakes up, she's already thinking about the things she wants to do or either triggered by the fact—
I want you to write that down because that's a, that's a solid one right there. The first thing you think of when you wake up is I got to pee on something. And the reason that's such a good one is because no one else is thinking that. Yeah, right. Like very few people in the world wake up unless you have a certain need. So I would write that down as like that's one of her problems is like, it sucks that I've had to wake up every single day for the past year and the first thing I have to do is pee on something. I'm so, so annoyed by this because she's not getting what she wants out of it. Okay, pull out a couple more, 2 or 3 more that are like really standing out to you.
So when you were talking about the coffee, like getting your coffee and heading to work, so I put in the morning you're grabbing a handful of supplements, wondering if they're even working or what you need to be taking, because my person is taking 20 different supplements. From random Facebook ads and doesn't even know if they're working.
And she's probably wondering, are these helping or hurting, right? She's like, okay, so you grab your 20-something supplements, swallow them down, perfect. And then give me one more.
Um, I went kind of through morning to lunch and then thought like you prepped your lunch because you're trying to eat a fertility diet, but you want to go out to eat with your friends from work, but you're thinking that that food is not good for fertility.
Perfect. But that you can't even enjoy a meal without.
Perfect.
Now we're going to flip that to the desired outcome. Okay. So based on these, all these, like, kind of like these negative feelings she has about her day, let's actually flip it. Now let's look at what is— let's create for each problem pillar above, what is the outcome that she wants? So what she wants to do is for the first one, Imagine waking up, peeing on the stick, and you see that positive. Like, it shows up and you're like, oh my God. And kind of really think of her in that moment. Like, what is her first thought when she's like— think about a woman who's been peeing on a stick for a while, say even 6 months. And really, at some point when you do the same thing over and over, you expect the same result. And then all of a sudden she sees a different result. Like, she's probably losing it. So, so that would be the first one. We're going to make it the positive. And then what was the second problem?
The second one was, um, taking a handful— like taking 20 different supplements and wondering if they're even going to work.
So I, I would suppose the flip side of that would be she is knowing exactly which supplements she actually needs because she's done the testing, correct? The science is now telling her, not just a bunch of, um, influencers online. Yes. Okay. You guys will get all of these docs, by the way, in the challenge portal. Okay. Everything will come your way. And then the last one, what was it again? Don't go and ask your friends. Yep. So I— so what would be the positive flip side of that?
I think like enjoying it and not stressing because my method is like really simple. And an 80/20 rule too. So to me it's like being able to go out and actually enjoy your time with your friends without worrying that it's going to ruin all the progress that you've made.
And maybe all the happy joy with your friends could actually heal your body more than eating. Yes. Feel that, you know? Mm-hmm. Okay, beautiful. So you're painting this picture of her like actually enjoying her life and getting pregnant versus being miserable and getting pregnant. Yes. Okay. Now the next step, and this is why I want you guys to do this every single week when you're prepping your content, is take everything you said and double-check it for hyper-specificness. I think we got really specific, Tori, but there are times you will do this and you'll go back and you're like, okay, I think I can get more specific. So you just want to check it. It's like, oh, I helped her lose weight is my positive. Get more specific. So double-check on all of them, both buckets, not just the— do the problem-aware and the outcome and just be like, okay, was I hyper-specific? And then rewrite both if they're not. I don't know if I want you to mess with yours because I actually think you did a really good job on that. So, but, but do take the time to check them all. Are they hyper-specific or does it sound just generic? Okay. Okay. Next part of all of this, um, is freebies. Okay, for the challenge, I want you guys to have 3 to 4 freebies. Okay, hold on, let me actually check the comments before we do anything else. Do you recommend writing from the pain point? I do, actually. I think it's, um, if you're going to be doing more content, I would do both. I would flip back and forth between the positive and the pain point. And since we're putting more out there, uh, you're not feeling as tied to lead with one because now you're just balancing both out. So yes, I do recommend both. And you don't have to get too stressed about like, oh my gosh, do I have to make it every other one? To me, you just got yourself 6 pieces of content or 10 pieces of content that if you're posting even the study method, which is 14 a week, you can use all 10. And it doesn't have to be like every other one or anything. Don't overthink it. What I found with this method is people will not see your stuff in order. It's really weird. They'll see like the post from 2 days ago and then the post that afternoon, and then the one from today, and it's all out of order, which is kind of cool because you get— you start seeing people bouncing around your stuff. Yes, I actually love this, giving your avatar a name. Yes, it is. It's weird, but I've heard that before, and it actually is. It is a very— it just— it makes her feel very real to you. And so if you pick a name, Stick to the name. Yeah. And you're literally like, when she gets up, Heather does this. And yeah, it's actually really smart to do that. Okay, so we do need freebies. Here's what I found with freebies, and I was so excited to see this.
Sloan.
I love it. If Zach was a girl, he would have been Sloan. So with freebies, you need more freebies. But the good news is they don't have to be complicated. Okay. I was happy to see Paige, who's not on here, but Paige was like, oh yeah, I did a session with this Instagram guy and he was like, you have to have like 4 to 5 right now. I'm looking at Maria Went, I'm looking at the people I'm following in the wellness space too, and that are really starting to get attention. It's not just this one freebie that's like a beautiful Canva doc, okay? It's 3, 4, or 5 that are very simple and easy to execute, okay? So I have a post up right now that if anybody wants, these are for wellness, but I, you can use them, you can use the ideas for almost anything. Let me show you. And if you're not wellness, just, I'm happy to walk you through any freebie ideas that you have. But it says 5 freebie ideas that work best. And if you comment magnet, it will send you a list of 25. Okay, so just FYI, you can look at those. But right now on this call, Let's actually just talk about it. Okay? Your freebies need to be something that are easily digestible. Bri is here. Bri has one that's literally comment pancake. And when you comment pancake, you get a Google Doc. That's— here's why I love it. I'm not gonna print out your Canva recipe that looks all fancy, but I am totally gonna save that and print out a pancake recipe that's on a Google Doc. Okay, so make it so easy for people to want to get their hands on it. Stuff that they could listen to, right?
Your clients—
how many of you have a client that's not busy? Like, does that even exist, right? So something that's easy. If you are gonna have something that's a little bit lengthier, like I know Chrissy and Tori, you guys have your master classes, that's fine, but that's just one of yours. Okay, make the other ones Lists do really well. Listicles. I like to put them in Google. Can you share how to set up? Yeah, we're talking about that today. Absolutely. We're gonna talk about the ManyChat and exactly how I like to set it up so you can follow up. Let me actually just pull that up. It's perfect timing. So for— and I can put this automation in our challenge for you guys too. I have to find it. All right, this is not going to make it easy on me. Hold on, let me pull it up from here. All right, give me one second. I'm gonna pull this up and I, I will throw this in there so you guys can all see it. But I'll just put it right here so we can share. Okay, the purpose of freebies. One, you're getting an email list. Two, what I care actually even more I get a comment and I get you in my DMs. Okay. Oh, podcast. Absolutely. Yes. If you have a podcast, that works as well. The only thing to keep in mind, though, if people are coming from the podcast, that's why you want to have multiple freebies. Okay. So let me show you guys this ManyChat. If you don't use ManyChat, just take the same concept when you're replying to folks. But this is the freebies style that I want you to use in ManyChat. So they comment a word. I like to say, hi, I'm just confirming you want me to send this to you. And then they click the button. This is important because when they click the button, it like opens up the opportunity to keep them in your DMs because then I send, yay, here you go, and they have to click here to grab it. Okay, I'll talk about that setup in a minute, but this is so important. Right afterwards, this comes out. Now, this message in Instagram, you can test it by commenting, share on any, any of my posts. It looks like it was not part of the ManyChat. It looks like it was sent outside of ManyChat. Also, I wanted to ask if you're here for inspo or coaching. Okay, where'd you guys go? If you're here for inspo or coaching, people always respond to it. Some will say inspo, which is fine, and some will say both, and some will say coaching. But either way, I'm getting that conversation started now. That whole click here, right? If you want to capture an email, a couple of things. It depends on the server you're using. If you're using FlowDesk, it's easy. You're going to use an opt-in form for Kajabi, Jamie, and anyone else uses Kajabi. You're going— you can set it up with a freebie on a checkout screen. Okay, you can do it. So that link is yes, send. They would go to the freebie checkout screen. And once they input their info, it would send them the document and then you have now saved their email address. Okay. I don't know all systems, but if it's Flowdesk or Kajabi and anybody wants me to do a Loom, I'm more than happy to do that for you guys. So just comment in the challenge and tell me you need it. But if it's like GoHighLevel and stuff, I honestly don't know those systems as well. See, I use both, Jamie. I still love Flowdesk, so I use both because I can whip up Flowdesk like on the kitchen counter in between making coffee. So that's why I like it. So good. Uh, we'll talk about that later, Tina, if you like. Um, I have thoughts about it. Um, but yeah, so just depending on what you're using, you're going to set it up as a freebie. Now this is so important, you guys. That Google Doc I told you about, remember I said just put on a Google Doc underneath whatever you're giving them, or at the top, make sure to pitch something. Hey, by the way, if you'd like to talk to me about coaching, that would be awesome if they are, Chrissy. I'm not surprised that they are though. I want to show you guys this. Okay, so remember that freebie I said? You're going to make it super simple. This is my favorite way to get them from the freebie back in your DMs. I just want people in my DMs. If you're low ticket, that might not be the case. But for everybody else, you are going to want people in your DMs. If you're low ticket, just keep sending follow-ups from the ManyChat. But for us that want people in the DMs, this is the freebie that they get. Look at the bottom. P.S. Are you a health and fitness coach that wants to scale your business past $10K+ a month consistently and you're ready to work with a coach that can help you make that happen? Send me a DM on Instagram. Ready? And then I said my Instagram. I'm just sending you right back over to my Instagram where I want to keep you until we're clients, right? I've tried putting links for other things and all this, and I'm like, you know what, that's a waste of my time. I just want people in my DMs. DMs is where the magic happens. There's not a single one of you guys that moved forward that was not in my DMs at some point. DMs is the magic. So I just send them right back. Okay, let me check the Okay. Here's what I like about ManyChat. For a long time, I was like, I'll do ManyChat when I have more comments. What I realized is ManyChat gets you more comments because people comment and it gets in there so fast that it sends a message that the post is working. So yeah, I almost feel like ManyChat kind of self-fulfills itself in a way, like it actually gets you more people commenting because it's commenting. Okay, let's go back over here. The all-in method. Okay, so every week you're gonna say, what freebies am I pushing this week? It could be the, the same 4 freebies all month long, all quarter long, but you're gonna write them down. Okay, what program am I selling this week? Now, how many of you have a folder in your Instagram, like, you know how you can save stuff? How many of you have a file that says inspo for business or business inspo or anything like that? Okay, if you don't, I want you to get one. Okay, now what's so important? Save content from creators that are not in your niche. Don't just stick to folks that are in your niche. Save content from people that are outside your niche. Okay. Save stuff that is educational and you like the way that they delivered it. Save stuff that's inspirational and you can recreate it for your niche. This is why I actually find like following sometimes people that are even just like an influencer, not because I wanna be an influencer, because I can recreate it and it's not someone that's my competitor. I don't really wanna follow someone that's my direct competitor in this bucket, right? I wanna get info from outside of that. So save to 10, save 7 to 10 pieces here every single week. You should be saving in this folder. Okay, step number 6. So we've done all of this. We know what freebies— oh, there's another one. What programs am I selling? You might just have one thing that you're selling the entire time, but you need to write it down. I— this is a step, you guys, that it amazes me how often All of us sometimes miss this. We're creating content, we are not dialed in clear on exactly what we wanna be selling. This is so, this is like a disconnect that a lot of us have. And when you really think about it, you're like, what the heck? How you can't write content if you don't know where you're leading it to. So take a minute and like say, what exactly am I leading to? If your one-on-one is full and all your content's talking about what a great one-on-one coach you are, what's happening? Like what's going on, right? So be very clear on like, this is the program I actually want to pitch this week. Okay. And then we have the 7 to 10 pieces of content that inspire you. Now we're gonna start batch creating. Okay. In the All In method, you need 21 pieces. So we need 7 that are gonna push your freebie.
Okay.
Now they need to have a clear CTA. Let me give you a piece of advice. Figure out all the CTAs for your freebies ahead of time so you could even write them here. I'm just literally gonna put it include CTA. This is why I didn't send it to you guys yet for each. So whatever your freebie is, know ahead of time what the CTA is gonna be. All right, 7 freebies. These can be B-roll, talking head, carousel. If you are doing the all-in method, 3 a day, you want, I want you to do, try, we are not looking for perfection here, but if you can do a talking head, a B-roll, and a carousel, It's a nice easy balance and it— I do like that method. Don't get so hung up that you're freaking out about it because you're like, I don't have another talking head. It's okay, just do 2 of the other one. Okay. But you want to create 7 to a freebie. I personally find it's easier to do all 7 of my freebie at once versus creating Monday. Here's my freebie, here's my this. That's personal for me. I would rather just do 7 posts about a freebie., then I move on. You're gonna find what works for you in this challenge, but that's the method that I find works easiest. Then I'm gonna do 7 that are going to push my program, whatever I'm selling. Maybe you're selling 2 things. You're selling your group coaching and your one-on-one. So figure it out. Maybe you do 3 for one-on-one, 4 for your group. Some of this is gonna require decision making that does not have an answer. It's like, Zee, should I do this or this?
Guess what?
When you're doing this much content, you can have— you have more at-bats. It doesn't have to be perfect. Like, try 3 of one and 4 of the other. Then 7 engagement builders. Okay, engagement builders could be quotes. These are the ones that I think my saved really help. Like, you want to save other ones. It's stuff that's like empowering. It's stuff that is inspiring. It's stuff that's funny. Maybe behind the scenes, hot takes. This does not have to sell anything. Can it sell something? Sure, if you want it to, but it does not have to. Okay. All right. I want to pop in here. What are my thoughts on reusing captions with different reel hooks? Captions? Well, I actually— it's fine because the other thing I was going to tell you guys on freebie captions, guys, you can make them like two-liners. They don't have to be that long. My freebie captions are like, download this one, you're gonna wanna get your hands on it. So yes, you can do the same caption, Tory, but also don't go for super long freebie captions. They don't need to be that long. They're not there yet, Carrie. They will be. None of the documents are there. Yeah, you can tell who's like ready to go. I love it. Yeah, I will get them up today. Okay, so 7 engagement builders.
So you're gonna write those down.
Now remember, we have all this talking head and B-roll that we prepped ahead of time. As long as you have— as long as you get ready in the next 2 weeks for the first block, you can use that first block to create this content, right? And film some other stuff.
Okay.
If you need more than 2 hours, then you might need more than 2 hours. It depends on how fast you can bust out talking head and B-roll. Now be— I'm gonna get into like the kind of content to create though too in a second. Okay? Like how to make it easier on yourself. Then you're gonna come over here and use this chart. So you're gonna say, okay, out of all the 7 I did, this is what I'm putting on this day, this day, this day, this day, this day, this day. Mark it on here.
Okay?
Couple of things I'm gonna mention. Okay, number 1, captions. I tend to do all of this work and then I do the caption right before I post. That works for me. That might feel way too much. You're like, I gotta just get it all prepped ahead of time. Go for it. But you might need a little bit more time. 2, Brock talked about this recently and I so agree with him. People are go, go, go right now. We do not want super long captions. The other thing is, and I'm not saying this is you, but a lot of folks are using AI and writing really long captions. So I actually prefer a short caption that you write, and you can always have AI clean it if you want, versus this like super long caption that is a bit of a turnoff because it's like, oh my gosh, it's just so much stuff and I don't even know if you wrote it or not. Condense it. Don't make your caption— and that should take some of the pressure off, right? Let your talking head, let your carousel, let your B-roll do the talking for you. B-roll is the one where I do tend to maybe do a little bit of a longer caption because the B-roll only says like a one-liner, right? But in the other scenarios, you don't have to have these massive captions. The old reason people did long captions was because the idea was we kept you on the page longer so it would give you more views. Does that still work? Yes, if they read the caption. Okay, but I don't think people really want to read long captions right now. That doesn't mean never do them, just use them only when you truly have like value to give, not just because you're trying to do a longer caption. All right, next I'm actually going to take you— and Bri, feel free to hop in if you like because I'm going to actually use your page as an example. And those of you that are new, Bri is our amazing social media co-coach. And I told her she didn't have to be on the call right now, and now I'm like calling her out. So I love you, Bri.
By the way, Bri, thanks for your help this morning.
Thank you.
Oh, you're so welcome.
Did that all make sense? Oh yeah, completely. Okay, good. Yeah, that was pretty straightforward.
So thank you, ma'am. So, Bri, do you make all of your carousels in Stories?
Yes, all of them.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Okay, so you can prep ahead of time in Canva. Like, that's one of the prep steps. You can also make them in your Stories. Like, that's where Bri does all of hers, which is like boom, boom, boom, bam, bam, bam. So easy. Another thing I want to talk about, talking head, because she had such a good one this morning. Guys, not super edited or anything, but super impactful. Your talking head do not have to be this like long drawn out process. You can throw— do you use the Instagram app to do the captions or do you?
So I'm sure all of you have dealt with this. Instagram sometimes will bug out on you. It'll cancel something out, it won't save. And so I was trying to put captions using Instagram and it kept saying I couldn't post, I couldn't post, I couldn't post. And so I was like, screw this. I pulled it up, CapCut, threw in CapCut and threw the captions. So it's just another— every time I think about using Instagram to edit something, I get shown why it's so buggy. And so I typically don't edit this kind of stuff in Instagram.
Yeah, I don't either. So I didn't know. But so it's like one extra step. So she's just CapCut. But still, like, you're not doing crazy edits, so it doesn't have to be super complicated.
And that's what I'm gonna say too. That was my challenge myself, is like, I really want to get better about posting talking heads and also being like, not in my head and like, pretend like you're voice memoing a client right now. Like, when I voice memo a client, I just, I just go. I just want to roll. And I was like, pretend like you're talking to this client. So I put my phone down and I didn't, you know, I just kept going. And I was like, perfect. You trim the start, trim the end, and you're posting it. And so that was me trying to get out of my own head as well.
And I love— it's actually a really good one, you guys, about overwhelm, which I was like, it's perfect for our challenge too. Like, yes, this is an overwhelming time. Um, but anyway, so it's just very in the moment. It doesn't feel rehearsed. It doesn't have to. I want you guys to batch create some talking head, because at the end of the day, it's not that you can't— and I don't know when you created this, Bri, if it was in the moment. Was it today?
Yeah, it was like 5 minutes before I posted it.
Okay.
Yeah, I was like, I just gotta do this.
You can absolutely do that, but if you don't have the time to do that, then batch create it. That's all I'm gonna say, right? Like, if you're not able to get to it, then batch create it. Another thing I want to show you guys, um, Sorry, not paid.
Molly, let me just add real quick, Zee, about the talking head. I know I said that I just hit record and I just went for it. If you're not comfortable with talking heads, there's nothing wrong with hitting record and letting yourself pause and collect your thoughts and continue to talk, and then editing out the space too. So everyone has to start somewhere, and just whatever you're—
whatever will get you to post the talking head, that's what you need to do. Well, and along with that same topic is that if you're on— if you're nervous about it, sometimes it is better to not give yourself too much time. Like, that's the other thing too. Like, if you're, if you're gonna record, if you're gonna take your 2-hour content session and record 2 talking head and throw them away and keep getting in your head, that's not gonna work either. Molly does a lot of carousels that are— I wanna show you guys for carousels. It's like the same photo and it literally just has— and she does a lot of— here, I'll show you a few more. I think they're— yeah, most of them are the same photo and it's just like the text right in there. So they're simple. They're not like these drawn out, complicated, like literally her sitting in her bedroom and this is her notes app, right? So it does not have to be complicated. If you wanna go into Canva, I actually do, like I prepped some templates ahead of time in Canva. You can go that method too. One thing I do wanna talk about, and I, Bri, feel free to jump in though, is quality of the photos, not necessarily the fanciness or the flashiness. Lighting. Okay. Window lighting, backlit, or a, or a loom or some kind of like phone ring light or something. But you need to have backlighting. Okay. Because if it looks— and unless you do like a purposeful dark, if you're doing a dark wash on your photo, that's fine. There needs to be contrast between the photo and the text, though.
Too.
So if you do, you don't wanna take a crappy photo and put a dark wash on it. It's better to take a good photo and then do a dark wash if you wanna do a dark wash, right? But you need to have contrast between the writing and the photo. Also, when you are creating Instagram carousels, if you're using Canva, if you're in your stories, there are borders. Stay within the borders. Okay, you'll see borders and stories. Canva has the pink borders. Keep it all in the borders because if you don't, then if I come to your feed, it's all sticking out and you can't read it. Think about where you're placing text and where the eye goes, right? I actually have someone, Jill, if you don't mind, if you could look at Social Hand. She did some stuff for me that was really cool. She has a post on how to format your carousels within like all the rules. It— she has like the— this is where to do the writing, and this is how you— the eye gets drawn into it and how to do the contrast. If you're able to find that, Jill, will you throw it in our challenge, please? Thank you. But keep that all in mind, right? When you're creating, it doesn't have to be fancy, but it does need to be consumable. It needs to be easy for someone to consume and digest. Any, any other tips on that, Bri?
Yeah, yeah. I mean, I just don't want people to overthink this, you know what I mean? Like, I know, which I agree there. I don't, I don't know if anyone is or whatever, but it's just like, like you said, just needs to be like, think about psychologically, like we are just creatures. We're trying to go through the path of least resistance. And so if there's a lot busy going on, my eyes don't know where to look. This is to a rolling next post. So it's just like if this was me in a photo, I put the text right here on this white thing because there's contrast. It's easy to see. So just think about when you look at it, do my eyes gravitate towards the text I'm trying to read easily? And then make sure the photo's not blurry is really kind of at the end of the day.
Unless you're blurry on purpose. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, no, don't do it on purpose. Just give yourself that, make it easy to read. Don't worry about—
but you can even go to Zee's page or even mine and just see where I place, where I place the text on all of my things are very strategic. And I can't find a spot to place it. I put the like dark overlay and then I Yes.
Pop it on top. So, okay, so let's talk about the fun stuff, you guys.
All right.
When you go into the challenge, there is going to be a bingo board. So all of you guys, I want you to print out your bingo card and I'll just kind of read out some of like the fun stuff. That's actually— I'll pull it up. There's like an edit that I need to make on there, which I have not done yet, but I will just show it to you guys so you could see it. Okay, so hang tight. Let me share. So I want you guys to print out your bingo card. There are gonna be prizes for anything that's 5 in a row. So you get a freebie in here. It could be all the way down here. It could be all the way across. I— it could be a diagonal right through the middle. There's going to be a prize every time you hit a 5 in a row. Okay. And there will be a prize for every single person, and especially the first person who hit the entire bingo card. Okay. If you hit bingo, post it on the page. We'll make a big deal. We'll have so much fun with it. This is why this is not 75 hard. This isn't like, oh my God, I said I'm going to go all in and I missed today and I'm kicked out. No, you're not. You're not kicked out. You're not punished. You don't have to make it up, you guys. This is not like I missed a day and I have to do— or I missed 2 days and I have to post 5 times tomorrow. Okay? That's not the purpose. I do want you to push yourself to create content with strategy. And really, it's not so much strategy, or I should say it's more intention than strategy. The way Bri and I also see it is we can help you get better at content if you have more content. But if you don't have any content, we don't have any data either, right? Because the truth is, too, there is no black and white. It's not like post this, you're going to get clients. And a lot of times if you're only posting 3 times a week, we just don't have a lot to work with. Like, that's the truth. If you post more and we can see how things are going, it gives us data and we can be like, hey, this worked, let's do more of it. The final thing I want to add was this was a real big mind game in the first like 15 days because it didn't actually work. I was like, wow, this just sucks. Nobody cares about me. So it's kind of like in wellness— a lot of you guys are wellness, and you have a client that's like, I've been doing everything right for the first 3 weeks and I have no results to show for it, and they want to quit. And you're like, well, we know quitting is not going to work, but they're stuck in their head, right? So give it a chance, right? Like, it truly has to kind of play— it needs to keep going, right? I honestly think it takes 30 to 45 days to really see the traction. I haven't even hit that yet with with this new method. Like I'm getting really close, but I did see a little sooner. But in the beginning it did feel like a lot of output for very little input. When I say intention, the one thing I want you to walk away from this challenge is seeing a difference when you actually take the time to create content. A lot of times content is the last thing on our list, right? We're doing all the other things and then the content is like what we give 2 minutes to. That's like going to the store right? You go into a store and they have the most beautiful items in the store. They just rolled out this incredible promotion. They, you know, everything's amazing on the back end. They have the best team members working, but they don't open their doors. When you don't post content, that's what's happening, right? You're just like not opening your doors. We're just trying to get your doors to open a little bit wider, a little bit longer, so more people can come through. Any questions? Anything, Bri, you want to add, or any, anything else? Um, I have a question about stories. Um, where does that fall in with— yeah, with this question. So I did, I did not put stories into the challenge for one reason. I didn't want you guys to have, like, not that I don't want you to do stories, I want you to do stories the entire time. I didn't want to give us two, like, you know, focuses of like, hey, this is what the challenge is going to be about. At the same time, yes, you do need to post in your stories because stories is the best bottom funnel, right? So for those of you that are not consistent in your stories right now, I would say number one, I want you to watch Fully Booked Stories like immediately because that's going to help you quite a bit. The second thing, which I will put in there for you guys— hold on, let me pull this up. That I'm almost done with is— hold on one second. Okay, so this will be dropped in there. It's not part of the challenge, meaning like you have to commit, but you should be in your stories. Is this is going to be loaded into there as soon as I'm almost done. I'm just— Bree sent me a bunch of her stories to use and I've got a couple other examples I'm going to tag. So see where it says like Story Selling Series. These are 35 different story ideas. For example, 5 to 7 slide story series. When you click here, it'll have an example for each one for you guys.
Okay?
So this is, this will be wrapped up in the next couple days and we'll put it inside the challenge. Okay? So that's not the only stories I want you guys to post though. These are just your, selling stories. Okay. So you can absolutely say, hey, you know what, I'm committing to following both. I'm gonna do the story side of it and I'm gonna do this side. 1 million percent do both if you want. Then here's the deal too, you guys, all this stuff we're doing on the feed, guess where they convert? In your stories. So don't drop the stories. Okay. Where do you suggest plugging in low-ticket offers if you're mainly a high-ticket coach, like out of the 21 7 of the set. So on the All-In Method and the Steady Method, it tells you how many pieces should be freebie. Um, a third is actually what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm a high-ticket coach, but a third is what I've been going for, for freebies, for one reason: it gets people into my DMs. So are you, are you suggesting, so like 7 freebies, 7 of what you're— no, you can have 3 to 4 freebies, but 7 posts that push those. Got it. And then would you suggest with the freebies if they're doing, if they do a CTA directly to the freebie only, or if they go to the freebie and it funnels to low ticket, or do you have an opinion? If you have a low ticket that you wanna throw in there in the funnel, absolutely you can. Some of mine do. Yes. Yeah, yeah, totally fine. I mean, you have a good enough audience size too where you could pull some extra cash in that way. Absolutely. If you don't have a low ticket right now and you're a high ticket coach, don't go feeling like you have to create a low ticket right now. Perfect. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Anything else? We're just going to go fishing, guys. We're going to fishing a whole lot more. That's it. Then we can talk about the quality of fish and improve the quality of the fishing line and all that stuff. But we just got to go fishing. Let's go fishing. I'm gonna text Brock that we're all going fishing. All right, you guys, I hope you have the merriest Christmas, Hanukkah, whatever you celebrate, merriest season. Our next call is on January 5th.
