Bombshell Scripting: BONUS. VIDEO

Zee Slingsby explains scripting, a journaling practice where you write about outcomes as if they've already happened. She moved from weekly to daily scripting and expanded her time horizon to months and quarters, which dramatically shifted her business and personal life. The brain fills in gaps and prompts actions that align with what you've written.

Hi you guys, today you are going to get a bonus video from me as part of the Bombshell Money course on scripting. I don't say it lightly when I say that scripting really did change my life this past year, and here's why. I have done a lot of work around manifestation and mindset But I struggled with the idea that you can just manifest anything. Not that you can't. And I know there's so many folks out there who will say that it's changed their life, but there was a small piece that was missing for me and it just wasn't enough to just manifest it. So when I learned about scripting, I started to actually put it into practice and it became a game changer. So here's exactly how it works. You are going to grab a— I want you to have a notebook. I use this What is it called? Called Remarkable. It's an electronic notebook, but anything, it could be a notebook, could be a piece of paper, but I, it's fun to keep this over time so you can come back and reference it. And you're going to open up your sheet of paper, your first one, and you can script from a, for your business, you can script for your relationships, you can script, uh, for your health and wellness, for wealth. Any of these areas of your life. Okay, the difference between scripting and manifestation or journaling is I am not calling in what's to come. I'm actually writing as if it's already happened. So when I first started scripting, I was only looking at one week ahead. That's just what worked for me in the moment. There's no right or wrong way here, but I would place myself at the end of the week, so it would be a Monday I would place myself as if it was Friday and I would start writing. I am so proud of the week I had in my business. I can't believe the women that came to me. They are my exact dream clients. Now you wanna get really deep and go through the layers. So I would say they each came to me for these reasons and I would write out the reasons why they found me and I would write out why I'm so excited to help them. I would say I'm so excited to help So, you know, the first woman with this, and I'm excited to help this client. And it might not be all women, but for me it is. Help this client with this. And I'm so excited about this client that came here. And I would talk all about the desires and the needs and the goals that they had and why they wanted to work with me and why they said yes. I would say they said yes because of this. And then I would say, you know, 3 of them jumped in with the payment plan. 2 of them said— 2 of them paid in full. I hit my goal of the week of X amount, and I would write it all out, every single detail. Now, I chose to go on and do this in other aspects of my life too. For example, motherhood. I would say, I am so proud of the way I showed up as a mom this week. I'm so proud that, um, I played with my kids and I did not have my phone near me. I'm so proud of the fact that when my son was, um, having a meltdown, I'm proud of the way I stayed calm. Now, I am not a perfect mother because these things are sometimes in the moment, you're not actually doing what you wish you could have done. But remember, I'm writing this pretending that it's already happened. It's Friday and I've already embodied it. Um, so what— why does it work? Because I'm telling you, it works like nothing else I've seen. I would literally write down, I call in 5 women into my space at a $30,000 cash week, and the numbers were so dang close, it was mind-blowing. And here's why. Because after you write it down and you say it as if it's already happened, your brain now is going to want to take action that supports what you claimed happened. So when you say, I called in these women that needed help with this, this, this, this, and guess how you're going to show up in your messaging? You're going to talk about these things that you help your clients with. You're going to call in that woman. Your action that now you're going to take Monday through Thursday is going to turn into what you said happened Friday. When you say, I showed up as a mother in a calm way, well then on Tuesday when your son has a meltdown, your brain is like, wait, I showed up calm this week, and you're going to show up different. Now I'm not saying you're going to show up perfect, you're going to show up different. When you already know the outcome, your brain knows the outcome, right? Your brain cannot actually decipher what actually happened and what you're happened. It's absolutely wild. However, your brain is going to want to fill the gaps in, so it's going to say, wait, the action wasn't there that made this happen, so now I have to backtrack and do it. And you're going to show up in your stories calling those women. You're going to write out the posts that talk about the needs that you said she hired you for. You are not going to stop doing what you need to do till you hit that goal. Scripting has absolutely changed my life. So I was scripting weekly. I would script every Monday for Friday for a long time, and then I started to script. I started adding more days in, and I remember the first time I fell off and I stopped, and I literally was looking at my business and I felt so confused about my actions. It was like, gosh, I feel like I'm floundering. I'm all over the place. And I said, I haven't been scripting. And actually when I came back into it, I decided I'm going to do it every single day. And that's when things just monumentally started to shift. Now, when I did it daily, I started to expand past the week too. Instead of just focusing on where I was for the week, I would script about my month, I would script about my quarter, I would script about around my year, and it just started to pour out onto the page. So I want you to take a moment right now. I'm actually going to end the video and I want you to stay, uh, you know, close to your notepad or whatever it is, and I want you to try it out. You can try the week like I did if that feels good to you. And I want you to write it as if it has already happened. And you can look at any aspect of your life. You can look at relationships in your life with your spouse, with your children if you have children, with even people maybe on your team. I want you to look at business goals. You can look at wealth. You can look at your health. Any part of your life that you want to see move in a certain direction. I hope you absolutely love it, just like I have.
