Hey there. Want to talk to you quickly about personal development. Last week I got back from a mastermind that I'm a part of and I thought about this investing in myself when it comes to money. You know, one of the things that changed my career three, four years ago is I joined an industry specific mastermind and it was the connection surrounding myself with people who are doing better than I was, who are going places I hadn't been yet and would have such a huge impact on my career. But I'll be honest with you, it was a stretch of an investment. It wasn't comfortable having to pay what I was paying on a monthly basis to be part of that mastermind. And since I've joined another mastermind outside of the industry and again, trust me, I had to look at that investment and go, oh, wasn't comfortable. But here's the deal. I couldn't be happier that I did it because the return on investment I got in, connections in ideas and strategies to grow my business, to help my clients, 5x10x whatever I paid for that mastermind. So here's my challenge to you. As we enter 2020, I want you to think about how much you're investing back into yourself. You can't pick people's brains on your way to success. Getting to where you want to go in 2020 is going to cost you time and it might even cost you a little money. The top salespeople I talk to, especially in the insurance industry, are investing 10% back in themselves. Do the math. How much you making right now? What are you going to do to invest back into yourself next year so you can make those connections, so you can increase those sales, so you can get those clients you know you deserve? Trust me, the investment isn't always comfortable. But I promise you, when you make that investment and you see the returns you get on the backside, you will be as happy as you ever have been that you made the investment. So go out, plan for 2020 and make sure you take the time and a little money to invest back in yourself.
