Hey. Hey. Good morning. My name is Andy Neary, and this is Friday Bullpen Session, episode five. Today I want to talk to you about the six basic human needs. Well, really, I only want to talk to you about three of them. If you haven't heard what these six basic needs are, you haven't read up on them. Let me quickly walk you through the six basic needs. Guys like Tony Robbins and others talk about them all the time. First, you've got certainty. People love to have certainty in their life, but you also have uncertainty. People want variety in their life. Number three, you've got growth, you've got significance, you've got contribution, and you have love and connection. Everybody you know has a tie to one or more of those six basic human needs. But when I work with sales professionals, I work with people who are interested in growing their business and growing their life. I really see three of those basic needs sticking out. Number one, certainty. Wouldn't it be nice to know that your business is going to grow on a consistent basis? Wouldn't it be nice to know that in the future you're going to have a much larger business than you have today? Much larger life than you have today? So certainty is definitely one of them. Second one is growth. Obvious one, right? You've got growing the business, growing yourself professionally, growing yourself personally. But then I think the third one I see a lot of sales professionals, business professionals, strive for is significance. Wouldn't it be nice to be an authority in your market? Wouldn't it be nice to have some significance amongst your peers, amongst your prospects? So how do we get those three basic human needs in the business world? Certainty, growth, and significance. I work with insurance advisors all the time on this. It's about sharing your message. It's about sharing a clear message with your target audience that resonates with them. It's about creating a message that is about them. It's making them the hero. And then when you have that clear message, when you have a message that is resonating and impacting with your audience, you have to go out and communicate that message as often as you can. Listen in a world of noise, like you are in, he or she who communicates the most and communicates the best wins every time. That's why I stress if you are in the business world, you have to be using social media, you have to be using your centers of influence, webinars, public speaking opportunities, all of that. Because when you're out sharing your message with the world and it's a clear message that your audience understands that it calls your audience to action. And you share that message more than anybody else, more than your competition. Trust me, you're going to have certainty in your growth of your business and your life in the future. You're definitely going to have that growth that you want. And most of all, you're going to have the significance amongst your peers, amongst your prospects, and you're going to be an authority in your market. So do me a favor. Work on your message. Clear it up, get to the point. Make sure it's a message your audience understands, and then go out and share that message as often as you can. When you do, you create that certainty, you create that growth, and you create that significance you are striving for. So there you have it, folks.
