MASTERING Your Craft Requires REPETITION!

Andy Neary argues that mastering any craft comes down to repetition. He uses his baseball pitching background to show how repeated practice builds the confidence you need when the pressure is on, drawing examples from recent interviews and his Complete Game Mastermind launch.

So I got a question to ask you. It's Tuesday night, you're gonna watch this on Wednesday morning. Here's my question. Are you putting enough repetition into your craft so that when the moment requires you to step up to the plate big time, you have a hundred percent confidence you're gonna get the job done? Thought about this a couple times today. I had two moments that really required me to step up big time. And it made me think about my days in baseball.
Why it was important that I worked on my feet, fielding as a pitcher, all the repetitions you went through in your mechanics, covering first base, working on throwing on the outside corner, the inside corner, all that repetition was required so that when you took the mound in a game time situation, it came to you like second nature. And so today that happened to me twice. One, I had the chance to interview David Meltzer today for the Bullpen Session podcast. It was a huge honor, especially since I've only done 31 episodes so far and I was nervous. About 10 minutes before the podcast, I had a little self doubt that I do enough research, am I going to ask the right questions? But then I had to stop and say, Andy, you've put the repetition in, you've done the work, have 100% confidence you're going to get the job done. In this interview with David, and then the second moment was announcing the Complete Game Mastermind. I had those doubts, right, right before you're ready to announce the opening of the Mastermind, you have those doubts of, did you put enough time in? Do you have the right content ready to do? You have the right agenda for the mastermind, like this, all this stuff comes up. But then you have to realize, wait a second, you've put all the work in, you've done all the right things, you put the repetitions in to make this one hell of an amazing mastermind. You are going to get the job done. I'm excited to say that we immediately had two spots taken, so there's only 10 left. So if you're interested in the Complete Game Mastermind, please go to the link below and let's jump on a call to see if it's a fit for you. But my question again is this, are you putting in the repetitions on your craft every day to make sure that when the moment requires you to step up big, do you have 100% confidence you can step up? Is it second nature to you because you put the work in? Let me know below. Give me a yes that I do or give me a no and then tell me what you're gonna do to ensure you start putting the right work in to mastering your craft so you get the results every single time you have to step up. Have a great day, guys.
