Welcome back to striking out the status quo. So here we are. It's a new year with new goals, and I want to share mine with you. This year I'm on a mission to help you be better today than you were yesterday and even better tomorrow than you are today. And I'm going to do that by helping you shift your mindset and helping you go farther with less effort. So today we're going to talk about the to do list. Right now, you might be sitting down at your desk, got a warm cup of coffee in your hand, and you're looking at your new goals for this year. And if you are, here's my question for you. Is your goal to get more done and check off more boxes or is your goal to create huge results? Because if it's huge results you want, here's my advice. Spend less time checking boxes this year. Spend less time creating activity and trying to be average at a bunch of things and spend more time being great at very few things. For example, when you put your day together, have no more than three priorities on the to do list because if you have any more than that, you don't have any priorities at all. And then take the number one priority and make that the first thing you do every morning. And I promise you, if you do that day after day, you will go a lot farther this year with a lot less effort you spent last year. So my advice to you as we kick off the new year, spend less time checking off boxes and spend more time creating focused, huge results. Until next time, bear down, focus on the target, and strike out the status quo.
