2018, I decided to go all in on content. Yes, that is a picture. That is my setup in our dining room in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Because in 2018, AJ and I went to a Tony Robbins conference. Anybody ever been to a Tony Robbins event? Those things are in all day affair, right? And for the first half of the day, he has a bunch of keynote speakers come up. And there was a speaker that came up that I had heard of but never seen. His name was Gary Vaynerchuk. Anybody know who Gary V. Is? Drops a lot of F bombs on stage. But he started talking about what business is going to look like in the future. And all I kept hearing him say is if you want to grow your business in the future, you have to think of yourself like a media company who happens to sell what you sell. And I said, going to become a media company that happens to sell health insurance. I'm going to put so much content out there that people are going to know who I am. They're never going to forget who I am, and it's going to resonate with the right people and it'll probably reject the wrong people.
