Sophomore year of high school, I was a third string junior varsity athlete. And I was so sick and tired of the position I was in, the person. I was not being confident, not being athletic, not living up to my full potential. And I really had a decision to make. Was I going to continue to live the life I was living, not play, not develop confidence, not become a better athlete and just sit on the sidelines? Or was I going to make a shift and find a way to accomplish my goals? And I chose the ladder. You know, I found a position long snapping, and I realized that this was such a unique niche position that no one wanted to be. If I got really, really, really good at it, I could play at an extremely high level. And that's where my focus went.
