Het creëren van het universum - de betekenis van Linga Shivalingam Maha Shivratri uitzending

A spoken YouTube piece (Cornelis Peters and a co-speaker) that interprets cosmic creation through Hindu symbolism: the universe begins as a bindu whose vibration yields sound, light and form, and the Shiva Lingam is presented as a microcosm of that universe. The transcript links the Lingam to the unity of Shiva/Shakti (male/female energies), chakras and nadis, and even an analogy to atomic balance. It then moves to practical festival material—rituals (uphishekas/puja), Chanda music, and communal celebrations on Maha Shivratri—with a moral emphasis on protecting the universe, positive action, and communal harmony.
Chapters
Before creation, there was a creation that was only a bindu, a point.
That.
Started a big explosion much more stronger than millions of hydrogen bombs. It spread at all the directions. The bindu started vibrating through that vibration. The first sound came out. That was O. And then the light and colors, the planets, stars, all the creations came.
The Shiva Lingam is a form in which all the material from the cosmos is enclosed in it. Actually, it is the universe in the shape of the Shiva Linga.
Shivalingam is the symbol of our biggest universe. Shivalingam is considered as the unity of Shiva and Shakti. That means the female and male energy in one. Actually, that is in everybody, in all creations from God you can see female energy is there, male energy also there. So in a way, we all carry Shiva Linga example, the head of a person, it looks like a Shiva Lingam. And we have also the Ajna chakra, that is the third eye or the nucleus point.
When you search different religions and when you search figures, what the nature people are making all over the world, being it the Indians in South America or the Aboriginals in Australia, you can see similar forms like the Shiva Linga in wood, carved or by stones, or created by themselves or found in the nature. Everywhere you can see this form. So it is a part of the collective memory from mankind to worship a similar form as the starting of the universe. When Mohana and Viganesh made this lingam, they started with making a small center point and both start energizing it. After energizing that center point with that very long rope, they created the nadis and the chakras. Nadis are the energy channels, what is connecting you with the energy around you. Chakras are the energy points in your body. There are seven important chakras. We call them also Mahamarmas. On the instructions from Mohana, Vignesh was rounding and rounding and rounding and knotting to make to make the Shiva Lingam coming into life. And that took a whole evening. From that part, we took some pictures and small film because actually that is the secret part and the sacred part of the Shivalinga. After that, a lot of clay was used to cover the center point and to create the Shiva Linga. When you see that Shiva Lingam, you see a huge form upwards and a huge form in a horizontal plane. That horizontal plane is the Yoni. We can say that is the female form and an upward form. That is the Lingam. We can say that is the expanding form. That's the expanding energy. In that way, you have to see that also when you are close by this Shiva Lingam, you experience an energy what is coming from within, because it is made like that. And it has two directions. It has an upward direction and it has a horizontal direction. And that shows the cosmos what is expanding, what is growing, what is getting bigger and bigger. And that shows also that everything what is happening, it is only going forward. I cannot repeat yesterday, even when I have all the money in the world, I cannot buy or I cannot make yesterday. That's impossible. Because it is in our genes even and in our being and in our very existence that the universe is growing, it is expanding. So we are part of that universe, so we are also growing. There is an evolution going on inside us every second of our life. The Shiva Lingam shows that. It shows the expanding energy of both sides, the female side and the male side. We can say the knowledge side or the wisdom side. We can call it dualistic, positive, negative in the sense of attraction.
In Shiva temples, the puja, or ceremonies showing how important to protect the third eye part of you and your universe. So the uphishekas, or the ceremonies offerings, are all connected with how to balance, how to please, how to cool down, and how to protect this precious energy. It is always spreading enormous energy and its vibration throughout the whole universe. So it has to be protected.
When you have an atom that is the smallest building part of our cell, then we can see in the center, in the nucleus, there is a proton, is a positive charged small particle. Because of that, an electron is attracted to that. That's a negative charged particle. And both are keeping each other in balance. The same with the Shivalinga, you have the. We can say the male energy and the female energy and both are in balance.
Sivelinga is based on Vaisheshiga Sitanda. That means the atomic energy research. Many thousand years before Bharadiya or Indians, they were very knowledged about the atom theory and its greatest works. But the only difference is now we are seeing the atom knowledge they are using for a biological weapon, nuclear weapon, and destructive purposes. But they were using those knowledge in those time to protect the universe and to protect the human beings and other living beings. That's a big difference. But still we have time to go back and take the wisdom from Parada or India, making communal harmony also very important. During the Ucharal festival of Mother Earth, we had a very, very, very nice time. We shared happiness, peace with each other during the celebration. Look at that. We are dancing, singing and eating, sharing our happiness. Because that is really making people so happy. So First Mother Goddess festival we celebrated and now Father God celebration. So these are very important because of course the time is not very good for many people. But we cannot worry about that. We can be happy by doing positive things. And the best things to avoid your worries and sorrows are to connect with God and do the best for getting happiness, peace and prosperity. One of the important specialty in this Shivaratri festival also the Chanda instrument.
Play.
This divine Chanda can heal almost all problems of human beings and other living beings. You get a chance to hear those things and to see in real how it looks and how the play is going on. You cannot sit. Suddenly you start dancing and acting. With that it is waking up very easily.
Foreign.
Music connected with spiritualism can take you to other level. Your energy is growing very fast from that. So definitely you get. You can forget all your difficulties. And I'm saying there is no age limitation. From child to older people, youngsters all can enjoy only laughing you can see only enjoyment. You can see that is a special occasion and event.
What we do today with this Mahsivaratri is that we show respect to our very existence, to the cosmos, with the cosmic law, to the energy, what is in us. And we have to realize that our part, our the way we are living our life on Earth has an effect on the way we are going to shape the evolution with today's worship. We have to think positive and to do whatever is in our capability to shape the Earth in such a way that we can continue it, that we can balance it.
We have to keep our communal harmony and do good things for protecting this Earth, Earth and other globes, especially the biggest universe.
Because that is our duty. That is the very big message. What we, what each of us get.
In life for us and for all.
The living beings to bring the best out of us and to do the best for each other and for the Earth. Because we are part of it.
Namashipa.
