Podcast people, you guys know my favorite segment of the Land bank show is Free Education Friday. I love this segment because I just get to give to you guys and pour into the community for free. And you guys just turn these things like, y' all go crazy with the information that I give. And I love it. I love action takers. I love people that invest in themselves. I'm going to teach you guys how you can get a historic property, a property on the East End Historic District. And I got it from the Land Bank. You got to do research. You have to just take the time and do the research. Today we're going to go through the Newburgh, New York Land bank, but I'm going to show you how it led to properties that are available for purchase in the historic district. Okay, so look, here's what we do. Let me just get this right for you guys. So first thing we do, you got to know where the land banks are. Okay? If you don't know where land banks are that are really good land banks, tap into the Land bank team. The link in my bio at Charles J. But just to start, I'll give you a lot of information today. Make sure you also go to their board meetings. They give so much at the board meetings. And any Land bank you read that about, find out their mission, and then you go to, you read the FAQs. So here's how you get to buying historic East End Historic District houses. Newberg Community Land Bank. You click on the properties tab. Newburgh had a ton of properties that they had for sale. Not for sale at this time are properties. They're listed here. Sales pending. Properties under development for affordable housing, home ownership. There's tons of properties. You guys have to tap into this stuff, man. Land Banks are awesome and phenomenal. And then they have a list of what they put out and sold already, however, right? So if you're looking at this and you're not on a Land bank team, you might give up. You might say, oh, yeah, I went to there and they didn't have anything. But if you keep looking, you can find a gem in the historic district. Okay, so now you go a little bit further on the Land bank site they have. Oh, I'll go back so I can show you guys. Right. If you go a little bit further down, you'll see all of their properties, right? You see everything they sold over the years. They sold a lot of properties, especially the ones on William Street, Miller Street, Johnson man, they selling these properties. But look, they're renovating neighborhoods, reviving communities, and I love it. However, look at this property. 40 William Street. They listed. They're listed right in the middle. Right, right. The minimum offer, they're asking for $16,000. Okay, so now you guys are looking at an opportunity, right? You're looking at an opportunity to get a historic property in your family's name. That's one. Look at this one on Dubois street. Right? This one, Same area. The same area. The same zoning code as well. East End Historic District of New York. You guys have to take advantage of opportunities like this what I recommend you do right now. Take action. Go do your research. Newberg Community Land bank will give you the access and the information to where they have houses that they are selling extremely low. I'm talking about pennies on the dollar. When you guys run the comps and see what properties are going for in the East End Historic District, you are going to thank me later.
