I always knew I wanted to start a group home, my sister living home, because I used to live in a group home. A lot of people don't know that, really. So believe it or not, there's a lot of people that need homes. And I feel like Covid should have taught people about rent and how to rent to people, because when Covid happened and people stopped paying their rent, the government was still.
Paying rent, of course. Are you just renting the whole unit to them? Are you renting rooms? How does it work?
Shared living. So HUD allows it now, this is good.
We getting good.
So you can get paid 600 to $1,000.
Per bed assisted.
Living on paper, like on business paper. You're not a group home per se, because you don't have any certificates or licenses.
Right?
But you are assisted living home. So that's one outlet. So anybody that's watching, if you want to get started, you can actually accept. People who have hud. And whoever your attendants are have to be okay with shared living. As long as they're okay with shared living, HUD will still pay for that.
