I was working at a job retirement. I was making $10 an hour. I used to work 7am to 3pm but then it was a snowstorm. They had a crazy shift. You can work from 12 to 5 in the morning. Shoveling the snow as it's coming down because of the elderly slip is a whole different. So yeah, it needs to be gone. We don't have time to shovel early in the morning. It needs to be gone as it's coming down. Like catch the snowflakes coming down. They said, we're going to pay $25 an hour. I'm making 10 and you're going to be 25. I'll take that payday. My check was $1,500. I lived at a job. My manager said, yo, your check looks like mine burning in me. I'm like, I saw you coming and I saw you leave out. I made a decision. I'm never going to let someone decide how much I'm worth. I'm going to decide that. So that's when I went to a free class. And that's why I love teaching classes. Because I know what it did for me not only gave me the information to start, but it also gave me the confidence. Seeing someone that look like me, doing the things and living the life that I want to live. The one thing I want everybody understand, if you go to someone for advice and they give you advice, not doing it is insane. Even if it doesn't really seem like that.
