Hey guys, Happy Friday. Thanks for tuning in to this week's Friday video and for finding this in your feed. Whether you're following the prescribed by DX hashtag or you're just making sure you get to this video every single Friday and leave some support or ask a question, I really appreciate it. With today's Friday video, I wanted to talk about being intentional in your job search. I had a post about spending an hour on LinkedIn only if you're job seeking and I realized what made me successful during my job search, I was intentional about every single thing I did. If it was having conversations with professionals, I made sure they were scheduled days in advance, they were timed, 30, 45 minutes, whatever I could get. And I made sure I showed up and was intentional in the conversation and was present and was there. If it wasn't conversations and maybe it was applications, I blocked off an allotted amount of time. I was there fully present and I was intentional about getting applications done and moving them through for that timeframe I had allotted myself. Lastly, if it was a job fair, if it was just anything career related, I was super intentional about where I was going to be, what my energy was going to be when I was there, and at what time it was going to get done by. So that's something that really helped me in my job search. And this just goes for people who are spending time scrolling on whether it's indeed LinkedIn. Be intentional about your time spent on those websites. If you're there, make sure you get what you want to get done. If it's look at a couple job postings, if it's engaged with a couple creators, if it's find someone to set up a conversation with. Make sure you're intentional about that time spent, get in, get it done, and then get out. That's what I have for this Friday. Go to your job search with some intention and I promise you it's going to return results that you haven't seen before. Happy Friday. As always, let me know if you have questions, comments, insights below and have a great rest of your weekend guys.
