This short YouTube video ("Soft Skills From Start To Finish") is an informal guide for young professionals focused on two core soft skills: communication and attitude. The speaker advises being human and honest in communications—from job-search emails and interviews to everyday workplace conversations—and emphasizes maintaining a positive, approachable attitude (smiling, accepting challenges) to build teamwork and goodwill. The video closes with an invitation to comment or message with questions or topic ideas.

Hey guys, Happy Friday. Thanks for tuning in once again to this Friday video and I appreciate all the support with following prescribedbydx hashtag and the prescribed Motion hashtag as David and I build our guide for young professionals. All the support has been duly noted and we really appreciate over the last couple weeks. So for today's video I wanted to talk about soft skills. You saw me talking about it all this week in all my posts and the two I wanted to elaborate on today are communication and your attitude. First one, communication. It starts all the way from when you're job searching to when you're in your day to day activities at your job. Whether it's emailing the hiring team, you know, going through all those rounds of interviews, or you know, going to a meeting and just having a conversation. The one thing I want to add on that is you need to be human and be honest. Be honest with your team, the people around you and be able to connect on a human level outside of just your day to day activities at work. You know, how are you doing? What's going on here? Can I help you with anything there? Be able to connect at that human level and be honest when you're having those conversations. The second soft skill I want to touch on is your attitude. It's everything when you come to new opportunities, when you're meeting new people and in your day to day motions. Like you can see me in this video right now, I'm smiling, I'm conveying this positive attitude, right? It's people notice it very, very quickly whether it's taking on a new assignment at work or doing something challenging. Keep that positive attitude and it's going to go a long way with your coworkers and just building a cohesive team. So those are the two soft skills I wanted to touch on today. As always, if you have any comments or questions around soft skills and any ideas you want to see on next week's Friday video, feel free to reach out, message me or comment below. And thanks for giving this video a watch. Have a good rest of your weekend. Thanks guys.
